Football v Laois on Saturday at 5 in Thurles, hurling v Westmeath on Sunday at 3 in Mullingar

If both win both will be out next weekend too with the footballers v Dublin in Croke Park and the hurlers probably in Thurles for a 1/4 final double header

so IF both teams win this weekend the footballers play Dublin the following Saturday in Croke Park and the hurling 1/4 finals will be a double header in Croke Park on Sunday.

Cork support being asked to travel twice to Dublin or fork out for hotel stay overnight.

Can't understand why the hurling isn't in Thurles :(

it doesn't have to be but they are always a double header.

spread over 2 days a couple of years ago in PUC

The double header in Thurles was always a great day out. Fondly remember the Cork/Kilkenny and Clare/Galway one in 2013.

Going back a bit further, 2008 was a good year too.
Beat Galway by 2 points in a qualifier in Thurlas (double header with Waterford/Offaly)
Following week beat Clare by 2 points in QF in Thurlas (double header with Waterford/Wexford)

Is it me and my cork bias or are the standard of ref terrible lately. Limerick seemed to get very soft frees while our players were being man handled and the game was let flow. It could be me tho. I thought the ref in Ennis was terrible to.

Ref was certainly not a homer. Poor Limerick goalie, first 3 puckouts straight over the sideline.

Anyone know where best to park in Mullingar? Assume free parking on a Sunday anywhere. Going to head up for the novelty of it.

Half Time in the Football and its

    Cork 0-12 Laois 0-7

A result from earlier in the Camogie

All Ireland Camogie Championship Group 2 FT

    Dublin 0-09 Cork 2-20

and half time in the Intermediate Camogie

    All Ireland Intermediate Championship

    Cork 2-06, Dublin 0-02

Hopefully a triple win for Cork today

Football is going well, 0.12 to 0.7. Laois struggling to live with Cork’s high press and Hurley is dangerous inside full forward.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,121 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Cruising, 2-17 to 0-9. bring on the Dubs :)

Hurley with 2 goals and 3 or 4 points us running the scoreline for Cork, 3-17 v 1-10
Nice for them to get a good performance like that in, over 15 left.
    Mark Collins with the 3rd
