Hopefully Rockies younger legs will get them across the line in ET

I think you night have called it right. Rockies looking far more livelier in this first period of extra time. Glen look heavy legged now

This is bollocks. There's a world of difference between letting the game flow and not punishing blatant fouls. I don't suppose you want to see Cads hauled down for Cork every time he rounds his man?

I don’t want the opposition waltzing through for easy scores. It’s killed us

The glen are dead and buried in ET.

Same as well as the forwards. I think if sometimes we dont get that free we tend to give up. Connolly has been fouled numerous times but has keep going and put in a great performance. This is what we need. That type of thing. There are going to be times you get fouled but no free. We wants guys to get up and win the next one rather just saying "I didnt get my free" and then not try as hard next time. So in effect we get bullied out of it all over the pitch

There's obviously a logic behind it. Career break from teaching, so she can come back to that. No idea what the hubbie does, but it's a big step to gather up the lot and go over there. She always showed the mentality that you could see develop and prosper in that type of professional environment. The Giants are lucky to have her. Glad she didnt go over 20 years ago! One of my favourite players on that team.

Carthach Keane, was in and around the Cork footballers 2008-2011, and played junior. Runs MrCoreSupplements with his brothers. Apparently can do the admin work from Australia according to some article I read yesterday so stay at home dad which will be handy I guess

I thought today was the 100 anniversary of the best hurler ever but now Christy Ring's birthday is meant to be October 30th!

Article here about it in De Examiner as they will be having a must get supplement later this month.

    https://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/arid-40063337.html
Researchers working on a major documentary film on the life of Christy Ring have definitively established the birthdate of the hurler as October 30th, 1920.

Uncertainty as to whether the Cloyne native was born on the 12th or the 30th has been clarified by Ring’s birth certificate, which gives the latter date - thus establishing the centenary of his birth as a century ago at the end of this month.

Ring is now the subject of a major new RTÉ documentary film due to air this winter. The Irish Examiner will also publish a special supplement to mark the centenary of Ring’s birth at the end of this month.

    In other news,

Alan Connolly and Shane Barrett have been called up to the senior squad for the game against Waterford. They are also on the U20 team that will play Kerry next Monday in Tralee (October 19th)
