Great to have Fitzgibbon on the bench and it looks strong

    Will Coleman play sweeper?

    Will Coleman play sweeper?

I'd say there will be a lot less space for him but he is very good at creating it too

10 gone, 3 a piece. Cork against a strong breeze but the Cork forwards look dangerous when on the ball. Might be the second half before they can do the necessary damage.

Corks first touch has been very poor today. Everything is taking a few seconds to do

Ref didn't play advantage there when Cork were through on goal. Awful reffing

Ref hasn't a clue how to use the advantage rule, for either team.

Thompson really has a bad habit of doing a good thing quickly followed by a bad thing.

Is the wind very strong there? Thats about 4 shots dropped short

It really is. Watch the puckouts, big difference. Forwards will see a lot more ball in the second half.

Clare are doing really well applying pressure and hounding Cork but that's hard to keep up for a full match. I think they are getting tired already and Cork are adapting to their style

Cork doing well now to be a point up at ht , 7 v 6 . Orla Cronin is really acting like a Quarter Back, playing really well.

Goal for Cork! Well taken too

    First attack, goal Cork.

I fully expect more of the same in the second half.

5 up at the water break.

As you said Shamobuc, Aisling does some great things then something silly a lot

Second Cork goal seals the win.

I was impressed by Clare with their tenacity. They are definitely going in the right direction.

Cork's attack looks very lively so I am looking forward to the semi final !

Just as I type a third goal goes in

    Cork 3-15 v 0-08 Clare ft

Thompson did better in the second half, played more simple passes.
Amy O'Connor has a great turn of speed and was not going to be denied her goal today, so much so, she got 2!!
Orla Cronin is such a fantastic player to watch on the field, dare I say gifted.

Clarer did well but they were never really in danger of winning it today.

    Onto the semis we go!

Very poor start from Cork. Weather making things really difficult.

    Maybe I am too harsh!

I think you are a bit. Nash's puckout hardly clearing our 65 while Horgan is struggling hitting frees against the wind. We are working hard and hopefully can stay within 6 or 7 at HT

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Jeez that goal is a godsend in this weather!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,110 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Great finish from Horgan, Tipp with some poor wides

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Kingston has to be passing them or running at the goal not going for long range

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Don't like the ref booking players in this weather. Both sides. Its very hard in that wind and rain

Cork get Kilkenny in the semis, delighted!

Down the Páirc on the 28th live on Rte 2

Hoggie keeping us well in the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,110 ✭✭✭zetecescort

I know they are probably told not to just puck the ball away against the wind but somebody needs to tell our defenders to stop running into trouble

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Robbie O Flynn got completely taken out there before Tipp got a point. Baffling that it wasn't a free for Cork
