Ref gifted them 2 points there at the end but to be only 2 points down against that wind is really great

Great effort from the lads..let's hope they can finish the job in second half.

The big thing in our favour is our bench. I think we have good options there for the second half. Tipp made changes already so they realise that they should be further ahead

This ref is becoming a BIG problem unfortunately

Another free for Tipp as I type

    All over the shop.

Amazing how momentum can shift Cork were flying it, then Ref gave them a few frees and now we are 5 down.

Frees upset our momentum and threw us off. We need to get back going soon or it will be over

Cahalane is such a liability. On a yellow card and I always think he could get sent off as he is very clumsy

  • Registered Users Posts: 821 ✭✭✭Coneygree

Damien Cahalane has more lives than a litter of kittens, how is still on the panel let alone the starting team.

Lot of steps for that goal!

The second commentator on C103 is doing the “yeah and look it” drinking game. If you were drinking every time you’d be langers. Also, hurling cliques to beat the band.

Ref is crazy with these cards on both teams. no need

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Lehane can't get into the game at all. Can't get on the ball when need him to

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,514 ✭✭✭The White Feather

That was a great goal from Tipp. We need something quickly

  • Registered Users Posts: 821 ✭✭✭Coneygree

So frustrating. Could have won that.

Should really have. Ref gave them at least 3 frees at perfect times. Robbie missed with a chance to go 2 up. Very disappointing

When the questioned was asked this Cork team folded again.. Not one leader on that team. Gutless everyone of them.. Raging

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,023 ✭✭✭Speakerboxx

Typical Cork hurling. Cork arent going to win an All Ireland for decades. Useless yet again. Tipp were poor and they still folded. Too much talk about them this year. They are highly overrated. Poor Hoggie will never win an All Ireland.

If tipp took their chances they would have been out of sight

When a game is tight down to the last 5 or 10 minutes we always seem to fall away

Disappointing having been level with 10 to go. Not sure if it was tiredness or Tipp putting the foot down but we were second to every ball at the end.

Frustrating as ever that we couldn't fight and work like that in every game. Makes the first day v Waterford all the more disappointing

I suppose that post was in drafts for a few weeks?

Ran out of juice in the last 10. 2 wides were very narrow misses in close succession. They would have kept us in it when Tip scored their goal a few minutes later.
A real pity as this game was there for the taking against the current All Ireland Champions.

Ah Coleman was superb but we just lack physicality . Thought we would pull away with 10 mins to go but Tipp in fairness hung in there and were marginally better team .Thank god for the footballers ..

It really does. Conditions actually improved in the second half and the wind died down somewhat. Third week in a row didnt help the last in the last 10. They did look a step behind in the closing stages. A goal then would have given them the lift instead Tip got the goal and ran out winners.
I wouldn't be overly critical if Cork on today's display. Very good first half against awful conditions. Some good performances but in these type of conditions, we normally dont do well. Today was no different.
