Could someone who is familiar with the new seating arrangement in Pairc Ui Chaoimh please help me to understand it, I am looking at this seating plan here:

    http://paircuichaoimh.ie/pairc-ui-chaoimh-seating-plan/

But that map does not seem to have any obvious connection to a photo of the Souths stand here:
    http://www.engineersjournal.ie/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Pairc-Ui-Chaoimh.jpg

For example if you count the number of sections in the photo on the lower half of the stand you either get 9 or 11, depending on how you treat the two tiny sections at either end, but the seating plan has 10 sections listed.....

Likewise in the upper stand there are 12 sections according to the seating plan but from the photo there are 13 sections if you count every single tiny separate piece separately.

Also on the seating plan the halfway line is exactly between two sections - 105 and 106, but in the photo the halfway line is in the middle of a section...?

The only way I can think of that all this makes sense is that the section in-line with the halfway line in the lower section (presumable for subs etc) and the corresponding section higher up for the media commentators does not have any section number assigned to it at all? and that the seating plan was drawn up as if those sections do not exist...?

    Thanks.

A "section" is a exit really, not a block of seats. So if you're in section 101, you know to go in the stairwell marked 101, and then your seat could be on the left or right of the aisle there.

The first "big block" in the photo would contain seats in section 101 and 102.

You can see it better in Croke park, when they sell off every second "section" to each county. This yellow batch of jerseys would be one section

    Changes for the Waterford game?
Be good to see a few new options. Cadogan did well in the league so surely deserves a start at full back?
After spending the league as first choice centre back, will O Mahony be given the chance to re claim the position? He’s been brought on early in recent games.
Any word on Michael Cahalane form?

would like to see only one or two changes, have to win the game first regardless of what state Waterford are in. not sure if O'Mahoney is fully fit, still has his arm bandaged. Presumably Robbie O'Flynn is near a return too?

Is Mark Ellis not even a sub? Is he injured?

    Injured apparently.
Speculation that Cadogan will play full back with Cahalane out in half back line.
I would have liked to see one or two more changes to test out some options for bigger battles ahead.
Donal O Grady on radio was suggesting Tim O Mahony at 11 for example.
Tony Considine suggested Conor O Sullivan should also get a start in this game.
We won’t win an All Ireland with our current defense.

Great to comeback , yet again and get the win.
It looked dodgy for long spells.

Yes it shows great resilience.I'm delighted that no one is talking about us. All the talk is about Limerick/Galway up to now and hopefully it will continue about Clare to the Munster Final.

Maybe its just me but I think we are slowly getting better every time. Haven't seen the game today but the highlights will be interesting to analyse.

We aren't the finished article at all but being unbeaten is very good and not losing is a habit.

Yep, I hope all talk is about Clare and hope we are given no chance

Glad it's Clare tbh. Limerick have a far better more balanced team. Just need to stop giving them loads of frees and we should have enough fire power to outscore them. Duggan is a free taking merchant and doesn't do much otherwise and O Donnell is horrific at taking scores but he's a right thorn for drawing soft frees, frees the likes of Cahalane will give away all day. Podge Collins not the same player he was. John Conlan is class though and usually has a strong game against us. Tony Kelly is slowly getting back into form as well.

Clare hammered the up and coming Limerick.

Cork are only making up the numbers.

    Next year.....

Slowly getting better - but need to learn to close out games when we are ahead. No problem coming from behind and winning as today showed.

Its either Gaelic Grounds or Thurles. Thurles is expected.

Thurles is always better I'd say

I was sceptical about John Meylers appointment. But unbeaten in the championship, and in a munster final. You can't argue with that. With regards to the all Ireland, i would worry that Galway would have a bit too much strength and physicality for us, but other than that, there's no team out there that i would fear.So far it's been a pretty alright summer for Cork.Hopefully we won't allow Kerry win 7 munster titles in a row next Saturday night! But Kerry are a pale shadow of the side they once were.So hopefully we might surprise a few people.:)
