Good win for the camogie minors, quite a few handy players.

Best of luck to the ladies footballers in their semi final v Dublin in Thurles at 7:30. Live on TG4, Kerry v Mayo at 5

I turned on the tv earlier today and there was Mark Keane getting interviewed after winning an AFL game! It was his first match in 2 years for Adelaide Crows against their rivals Port Adelaide. He must have did well as he was being interviewed! I see online, people could not understand his accent!

Incidentally I was in Waterford this week and happened upon Marty Morrissey interviewing a few Waterford Camogie players. I didn't have the heart to spoil it and tell them that Cork will win so I let them get on with it! Just weird that I came across a live interview while I was there. I was going to ask Marty what car he was driving also but let him off!

Going to be tough to beat Dublin tonight, with Kerry already in hte final.

The wind could play a major part in how the game flows as it is fairly windy, I'm expecting a low enough scoreline and hopefully we come out on top.

Should be 2 yellows for Dublin already, rugby style pull backs.

Dublin are far slicker in the foward lin atm. 9 v 4 down with 10 to go in the first half.

How was that Dublin goal allowed?

Is there no square ball rule in ladies football?

Second best in way too many positions and well behind at ht 1-10 v 0-06 Defence seem to be chasing shadows by comparison.

Moving the ball way too slowly up the field.

I expect they will put up a better second half performance but the damage is already done I think.

Around 10 to go before Dublin finally get a yellow - a ridiculous amount of frees. Yellow should have been given in the first half, when it actually mattered, it might have had some effect then.

Cahalane was very good when she came on as a sub, showed a real ability to beat her marker and score. Hope the injury isn't too bad.

Dublin well on top throughout and the scoreline didn't flatter them although their keeper did pull off a couple of very good saves.

Kerry will be tough in the final but are way too reliant on one scorer, Dublin would get my vote for the final.

Bobbie O’Dwyer has stepped down as Cork U20 Football boss. His 2 year term is up and he is not going again for another one. Both years we were beaten by Kerry after we hammered Limerick.

FYI, There is a special offer this weekend for the Club Championship

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,544 ✭✭✭Seadin

No harm. The u20 performance against Kerry this year was nothing short of a disgrace. Cork were destroyed.

Going nowhere when Cork inter county teams are set up like they were for that game. Torn apart by an average enough Kerry team I thought. The blame has to end with someone. Hopefully the next person in charge does something better with the team.

Is it only senior championship games they are going to show? Or will matches in lower grades be shown too?

Little light on details on the website

I watched the free match last night on Rebels Online. Very good picture quality, good analysis from Ronan Curran and Tom Kenny. Promising offering.

As a corkman living on the other side of the country I was looking forward to watching my club given they're playing in Pairc Uí Rinn at least once.

But when you drill down into it, unless you're someone that has the time and interest to watch whatever random selection of matches they're showing, it's very poor value for money at either full or discount prices. Two games in PUR today and neither will be streamed.

Much poorer offering than what the examiner were doing. Not a hope I'll be signing up to it.

In one reply you said "promising offering" and literally 30 words later you said "poor offering" . Make up your mind.

Really looking forward to the final later. cork are rightly favourites but Waterford are there on merit and will put it up to us for sure.

But the way we beat both Kilkenny and Galway, if we perform to that level, I cannot see Waterford living with us.

Our experience will also be key.

It's very clear. But let me help you with some English comprehension.

One match in isolation showed the potential of what they were offering. As an €80 package, it is a poor offering.

Cork well on top here, Waterford look well out of their depth being their teams first final. The RTE scriptwriter would love a Deise win but hopefully we will be too strong.

  • Registered Users Posts: 585 ✭✭✭Corcaigh84

Perhaps but 1 point after 23 mins won't win any final !

  • Registered Users Posts: 585 ✭✭✭Corcaigh84

First time hurling baby! Great goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,526 ✭✭✭✭siblers

This ref is atrocious, he's really, really poor

  • Registered Users Posts: 154 ✭✭magic17

Why can't RTE get unbiased commentators? Embarrassing listening to this drivel

Amy O'Connor with an incredible three goals in the space of as many minutes. Feel sorry for Waterford, just not at this level at the moment even though they've tried their hearts out. That Beth Carton is a serious player.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,013 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

You'd wonder about the standard of camogie at the moment if this Waterford team can make tge final...they are very poor...they'd struggle in the junior ranks I reckon...let's put another 10 - 15 points on them this half and have no stress at the end
