That's a shameful attack on those player's. You are very brave hiding behind your screen. So called supporter's like you disgust me. Your probably never played at any level and won f::k all.

No need to be so defensive, Its not about attacking me here. These are players in the public eye and if they aren't up to it then they will be criticised that's the nature of it unfortunately.

Are you happy with that performance from Cork last weekend? Because if you are, you are then part of the problem with Cork football with accepting those standards as a supporter. I play intermediate football myself but like you what would i know? And like you why should I have an opinion? You can't say a thing here sometimes without someone having a canary.

I am not happy with that performance but it was a team not individual player's. I played and my son and daughters play and no person deserve to be singled out. Those players have parents and family sitting in the stands listening to abuse and it hurts. Cork is our county and I will always stay loyal.

i love my county too and hate to see Cork playing so bad when I know deep down with right coaching and management we can do so much better. We were dominating underage at one time so we have talent. we need the right people in charge to exploit this.

That's fair enough but it a team game and no player should be named out for that type of attack unless you are prepared to put your name to you criticism.

Aidan Walsh has often been cleaned out in club level with kanturk and he still gets the nod in football. He is overrated and not up the county standard. some will disagree with me but he isn't good enough full stop. one of the most overrated players to line out for Cork. He should never again put on a Cork jersey in any sport. shameful. He is one of the most frustrating players to watch along with Paul Kerrigan.

Best thing is to boycott Cork football when nothing is being done in the county board to improve Cork football. Don't go watch and waste money on the Cork footballers when they play and hit the top guys in the county board where it hurts. They obviously arent doing anything to improve the situation.

I watched Aidan Walshe a few years ago getting completely cleaned out by John Galvin of Limerick in a last 16 game in the Gaelic Grounds. Cork scraped over the line winning in extra time and went on to win the A.I. final.
A few short weeks from that horrendous display he was awarded an All-Star by his buddies in the media who he was cosy-cosy with at the time.
Galvin was 32/33 at the time, that's 5 years older than Walshe is now and never won an All-Star, despite being awesome for Limerick for in 14 championship years.
    The mind boggles.

well they should be rightly criticised when they aren't performing. It's not an attack. it's just stating that they aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing on the football field. Walsh has being cleaned out loads of times but he is still played on the team. He isnt up to intercounty standard. It isnt his fault obviously but when a man isn't good enough he needs to be dropped. Simple science.

Interesting that in this post you actually seem fine with players being attacked as long as the attack is not anonymous.

Cowards hiding behind screens have no place in sport. Don't think they would be so brave if they put there name to that type of attack.

it's an absolute disgrace that Clare could still win the All Ireland losing two games in championship and both to Cork. Cork may have to beat them 3 times to win All Ireland that is if both teams get there. where is the sense in that?

Or in Galway having to perhaps beat KK to retain it. That's the system...

Exactly. But it's silly. Provencial championship should be scrapped. 6 teams in Munster should play twice home and away. Top 2 in the table with highest points progress and everyone else out. That would be the proper way. Something similar could be done for Leinster.

Two best supported hurling teams in the country, I expect a sell out honestly.

60K to 65K would be a very good crowd for a semi final

65k would be a huge crowd. Hope we perform to our best on this occasion. Not much between the teams but I think Cork have the beating of them if we can tighten up at the back. KK are not a great team.
