Is it an exaggeration though? Harnedy has made huge contributions in all 5 games this year ,with key goals in 3 of the games. He is our main threat in the air and a real leader.Hopefully the news isnt true

He would be a huge blow and I would make Limerick slight favourites, from Cork being slightly favourites, if he was out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 592 ✭✭✭Corcaigh84

We are fcuuuked if Harnedy doesn't make it :-/

  • Registered Users Posts: 394 ✭✭rebelyell99

I honestly cant see us beating limerick if Harnedy is out .He is the leader of this team and our best ball winner.Hopefully its just mind games.

Minor hamstring means he 'll play allright. They 'll strap him up. I think there is serious pressure building on Cork and people need to relax a little. It's a huge game but if Cork tense up then it 'll inhibit their play. I have a feeling Limerick will be very strong on Sunday so Cork need a few breaks.

No. Cork and Kilkenny are the only teams to enter teams in the intermediate championship.

Any news on harnedy? I'd be really worried for cork without him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 394 ✭✭rebelyell99

The Irish examiner says he is expected to play anyway.Who is likely to mark harnedy? Mike Casey maybe?.Seamie could get change out of him,im not all that convinced by him.

Shane Dowling and especially Peter Casey have the potential to cause trouble when they came on.

I rate Casey as one of most lethal forwards in Munster.

Don’t know how he is not starting

He had his appendix out a while back. His first game this year since club AIF was only 4-6 weeks ago. He will come on early in second half

    That’s explains it so.

Casey scored two monster points when he came on against Kilkenny, great talent.

A pity Alan Cadogan wasn’t fit, I think this match against Limerick would have really suited him in Croke Park.

If you'd told me 6 months ago we'd be in an all irl semi with p casey having played ten min( I know he came on v Carlow) I'd have said what sauce are you on? He's the best forward in Limerick imo but yet can't have any arguments with the decision to keep him on the bench as he's not long back from being injured.

Alan cadogan some loss to cork I think him and casey for us are two of the top 5-6 corner forwards in country

Dowling was crucial against Kilkenny when he came on and the game in the melting pot. Won some vital possession and laid off a ball that should have been scored.

    Yes that is right

cork haven't a hope according to many of the expert pundits tomorrow. It's a Galway Limerick Final according to the experts. Cork are only playing to make up the numbers tomorrow so they will have nothing to lose.

Let the 'experts' keep saying that... it will get our boys worked up and hopefully make Limerick over-confident. Game on!

Re Cork v Limerick, I think both teams have forwards better than their opponents' defence. Thing is, though, I think Limerick have more scoring power in their's. Hurts me to say so, but I think this is a Limerick win.

I have said already I think Cork will win by 5+ points.

Limerick will have to have everything going their way and take a lead from the start to win. I don't think that will happen as Cork will have too much. I think we have too much quality all over the pitch and this team is very underrated.

The only negative thing is we haven't put teams away fully and leave them in it.Hopefully with an All-Ireland Final to play for we will do it this time.

Its perfect though that we are being underestimated again like all year.
