Tipp havent had a proper penalty taker in the time since I started watching them, which goes back to the 80's could never really understand why. Even the great Eoin Kelly was terrible at them, Declan Ryan was probably the closest we had but even he was hit and miss, relying soley on power. I think it was Leahy who missed the second one if my memeory serves me right and Id say he never scored a penalty in his life!

My abiding memory of that game is Tipp absolutely pounding Cork in the first half and going in level at half time and then being destroyed in the second jhalf but getting two goals against the run of play and nearly snatching the win.

Season ticket holders got dumped into the North stand for today's game. Why not the south stand? Poor form.

I'm in two minds about this freesports channel. On the one hand it's great it's not on sky sportsports. On the other hand I have no excuse to head to the local to watch it now - of which my wife is well aware!

Cork have started very pedestrian so far

Cork with 3 or 4 wides too. Pitch cutting up a fair bit but no surprise given the rain the last few weeks

Should have went 4 points up and now only 1 point up at half time.

Cork hit an awful penalty and it was saved. Looked to have no confidence hitting it

Cork goalkeeper probably should have done a bit better on that goal but it was close.

We have gone to sleep at the moment.

Now 2 points down. Slow start in both halves is very annoying

Really bad second half so far.

Just got a goal back thankfully

That should have been a clear penalty for Cork. Definitely inside
