Listening to Kevin O'Donovan on the six one news, didn't rule out putting levies on the clubs to pay for PUC. Won't go down well but what kept previous regimes in power only inaction from the clubs.

In case anyone missed it RTE tweeted out the interview

    Might do.
Do you think they should also have 'come calling' on Timmy O'Mahoney a few weeks ago.
    Cant have it both ways.!!

    Tip win 3-13 v 1-18
3 second half goals enough for Tip.
Cork had 2 great chances to draw level but took neither, Finn with the best of them.
The second and third goals were very good quality.

Footballers 4-1 down. About time they dropped the goalkeeper White, massive liability.

What is going on with Cork football!?

Seven points down against Meath at home.

    Division 3 beckons.

    Edit: Make that eight points.

Nah, sure we love Killarney. Play ok for 45, 50 mins and McCarthy will get another couple of years as manager.

Thought you've two Páirc Uí Chaoimh games on the spin, because you'd to go to Killarney three years running?

So much wrong with Cork football.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,599 ✭✭✭eigrod

I wonder would the new administrative regime be any more willing to go outside the County for a manager than the previous regime? There are talented footballers in Cork...not at Dublin/Kerry level perhaps, but certainly well above Division 3 level. This is entirely down to rank bad admin, coaching and management.

    Who are these talented footballers?

I'm not being facetious. No new player introduced to the Cork setup has impressed me in the past few years besides Powter and Maguire. Low division 2 to division 3 just seems to be our level at the moment.

Cork are one of only three counties (Dublin and Kerry) to not have been lower than Division 2.
