Hi,

We've agreed to buy a new build & have been mortgage approved. Our solicitor received contracts from the builders a few weeks ago & received the loan offer from our bank about 2 weeks ago.

We were told by the solicitor that documentation would be sent out to us by them & then we'd arrange an appointment to sign contracts at their office. We've received nothing from them yet and we know they've had the loan offer from our bank for 2 weeks (they've had the contracts longer than the loan offer). Is this slow turnaround normal for a solicitor?
