Superman: The Movie (3 hour TV edition) - Blu-ray release

I got this news from the Superman Homepage today. There saying that the Warner Archive Collection in the US is going to release a 3 hour TV edition of Superman: The movie on Blu-ray. This version of the movie is the same movie that used to be aired on ABC in the US for two nights back in the 1980's.

Pre-orders for the bundle version are up now on Amazon. The release date for the bundle version is from next Tuesday, the 3rd of October.

You're welcome. TBH I never heard of this 3 hour version either. This news just came unexpectedly last week after I found it in a email newsletter. I had no plans to get this edition of the movie at all because I already own the motion picture anthology blu-ray box set to get the 20 hours of extras. I got it via Amazon a long time ago. I have only watched the documentary Look Up in The Sky! It's Superman so far. It was very good. Although it was very long; the picture quality from it looked fantastic.

I noticed that the forum has a Superman thread. I should have put the news in there instead. A separate thread wouldn't do any harm I'd suppose.
