Hello richer sounds , im looking to replace my current 43" TV.
Im thinking something reasonable along the lines of :

49" +    [when does 1080 start look poor as screen size increases?]
100hz bare minimum 200hz + would be nice
1080 is fine ,no interest in 4k
Access to Netflix etc is a must

    Thanks for reading.

    Hi DCully.

    Thanks of the post.

There really are not that many non 4K screens on the market. To get a poor 1080 image you would need to go above and beyond the normal TV size. We have ran 65", 75" with no issues. Even on a 92" screen via projector you still get a very very good image.

There is the Panasonic 49ES500 priced at £549.00

Everything else in going to be 4K.

Hisense have their 50N6800 coming in at £579.00

LG have the 49UJ670 priced at £599.00

    Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for that and sorry for late follow up.
If i were to go with a 4k tv does it downscale well?
For example i cant see myself subscribing to sky tv 4k or even running that many netflix shows at 4k so id need standard 1080 to look ok too.

Looking at the price on your site it has the panasonic @ £499 , set to € on the site and it comes to €599

Hows is this when the conversion rate states £499 equates to €559?

    Hey DCully.

    Thanks for coming back.

4K televisions handle Full 1080p very well. I purchase a 4K TV recently and Bluray and HD broadcasts looks fantastic on it.

Our Euro pricing on our website is not a direct conversion from the sterling but is also based on our competitors in the south of Ireland.
You can pay in which ever currency is cheapest and are not stuck having to pay in euro.

I hope this is of help.

Any questions please let me know.
