Is lower bandwidth on eFibre/VDSL the result of Friday's outage?

It seems that eFibre bandwidth has been halved. While there was an outage on Friday 29th September, are there residual problems with Eir's network (VDSL/DSL) that are forcing Eir to restrict connections? If so, when will this be fixed?

    Hi jmcc,

Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear you're having issues with your broadband service. There shouldn't be an issue with your bandwidth since the broadband issue as this issue has been resolved. If you give our technical support team a ring on 1890260260 or free phone 1901 they should be able to check on this for you.

Seems to have stabilised today, Adam,
It looks like it was a residual effect of the outage.
