BLK is for block. The pitch seats are in rows A-Z, then behind Z is AA, then BB etc, after ZZ is AAA, BBB etc. Then after ZZZ is 4A.
Some poster got 4C which is unfortunately way back. I think it would have been clearer if it was CCCC.
The map is very hard to make out, very blurry, but sure bless, what can you expect from a small startup company with so little money & experience behind them, who are barely making ends meet.
Thanks for explaining that & judging by the seat quoted to me, is way further back, i assume?
I clicked on Pitch Standing & got the sky, well almost, as how can you get High Unsuitable for Vertigo on the Pitch??

How much do agents charge & do you have a choice of seats or whatever is given to you?
As i may get someone to get it for me? as TM only send you on the ticket a week before?0 -
the usual scam they use is if you select pitch (or whatever your preferred area is) and if none are available they offer you others, but the notice/warning shown that they are NOT pitch is usually quite subtle, so many see the counter going down and are all flustered and buy them thinking it is the one they listed -as I am pretty sure in the past if you selected ones and none were available it just rejected your search. No doubt this billion dollar company has had hundreds of thousand of complaints about this, and point blank refuse to make it any clearer, scum that they are. Same with people inadvertently buying insurance or other unwanted stuff. They are conmen pure and simple, they appear on the most hated companies lists.
It depends, there are 3 "types" I am aware of. The ticketmaster kiosk in stephens green (and maybe elsewhere) may charge nothing if you pay cash or debit card. Then I think the soundcellar in dublin charge a fixed fee, which is very reasonable and usually less than other agents. Then the other agents like Londis shops etc seem to charge roughly half the price of online. Online charge 12.5% up to a max of 6.85euro. I think in the kiosks you might get a better chance of selecting seats. In soundcellar I think the tickets are already printed out and preselected, so you might get to sift through what they have left. In the other outlets like a Londis shop they might be able to select but I would not bank on it. Some are young lads in the shop, total newbies to the whole thing, the shop may be busy and they might not have a clue. I expect some of these outlets have people clued in. If you phone ticketmaster you should be able to select, but then you will pay full whack.
In other gigs which sell out fast you will hear of "on the ball" workers in the shops asking people in the queue in advance what they want, and buying up (or setting aside) loads of tickets the moment they go on sale. You also hear horror stories of massive queues and only the first few people getting any (while in other shops loads got sorted)0 -
