Won't be able to make it myself (yet). I see the seminar programme has been published, http://www.irishwoodturnersguild.com/drupal/sites/default/files/FinalWeb2017Brochure.pdf

    I'd imagine so.

Great list of demonstrations. You could pick out 3 or 4 really excellent turners there and see each of them on one day.
How much is the cost per day?

Edit - Does anyone know is the waterford turning club still in existence?
    Thanks

I'd love to go but it's too expensive. It gets dearer every year.

i dunno what's going on in the IWG at the moment, but i think the old 'the first item on the agenda is the split' seems to be the order of the day. the membership secretary has walked, and sent out an email calling into question the competence of other directors, and the editorial in one of the recent magazines was a disgrace.

I'd agree, its heavy enough. Considering you'd prob be able pick off 5 good demos throughout the year at all the different wood/tool-shop open days for free.

Saying that there are 2 or 3 there I have never heard of, doing interesting pieces, that I'd really like to see.
