Where does our rubbish go?

I've always wondered where does our rubbish go? Presumably all recycling gets sorted and is then exported as raw material to China where it will either get recycled or incinerated for energy depending on its quality. For our black bags and bins I know there is the new Poolbeg incinerator but where are the landfill sites…

For our black bags and bins I know there is the new Poolbeg incinerator but where are the landfill sites located around the country? Here in Kerry the North Kerry Landfill site apparently closed over three years ago and waste is now trucked out but to where I have no idea. There is apparently 25 landfill sites around the country but I've no idea where any of them are.
