Reccommendations for speaker and amp combo.

    Hi guys,

    I was thinking of ordering the Wharfedale Diamond 220 speakers and the Pioneer A 10 amp from your website but I have one or two questions. I already have a suitable turntable. I'm wondering what sort of speaker cable would be best? Including about 10 metres of speaker cable what would the price be in euros including delivery to Galway? Will I need banana plugs?

    The function to change sterling to euro on your website doesn't seem to work.

    Thanks for the post.

    I had a check on the Euro to sterling button on our website and it seems to work okay at this end.
    I'll keep my eye on it over the weekend and see if it happens again.

    The 220 paired with the A10 would be a nice little system as the A10 compliments the 220 and will produce a good standard of audio.

    Speaker cable for this setup, I would go for the something like the Symphony 200 priced at 1.99 Euro per meter

    Banana Plugs are not a necessity as you can use the bare copper ends directly into the amp and the speakers. Just make sure no copper strands are all placed within the terminals.
