Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Jaysis, shambolic

    Jesus Cech is atrocious.

My god. Our ineptitude doing the basics passing between teammates almost gives them another.

    Spurs' pressing is destroying us.

Spurs should be out of sight here. Hopefully we can punish their profligacy

Is Jacks the first shot on target? Creating nothing

    Spurs' pressing is destroying us.

Every team that presses us destroys us.

I don't know why every team doesn't do it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

NLD do these lads even know what that is? Half of them have gone hiding and the carry on with the back 5 is a disgrace again.

What goes on at the back is **** coaching and tactics, week in week out no matter who the personnel are it's the same

Watch Bellerin when he goes to Barca he'll be one of the best RBs in the world as he'll be thought how to play with us he is a headless chicken

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

Could of been 4, 5 or 6 nil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Surely at this stage we should've found a way to play against teams that press high? I don't know why every team doesn't play like that against us as we clearly don't have a clue how to handle it.

    Jesus Cech is atrocious.

We'd be 4-0 down if Ospina was in goals

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

Wenger failed to fix the defence including a new keeper

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,665 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

Good save Cech - though he was lucky that no-one was there to bury the rebound. The defence is awful ropey, but Spurs are oddly wasteful.

Bringing on Iwobi to change the game.

    Banter from Wenger

It's not too much to ask to not pass it directly to an opposition player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,665 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Iwobi awfully dozy there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,057 ✭✭✭FixitFelix

Bellerin 1 on 1 with Eriksen so he decides to pass it back 15 yards to iwobi. Honestly mind boggling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Looking at Iwobi this season you'd wonder why the hell Perez and Campbell were shipped out

    Apparently it just might be.

We seem to be playing him as a sweeper keeper for some reason, when this is clearly not a role he should be playing. Can't blame him when he's being asked to do something he's not comfortable with

What's Lamela's problem? Jack tried to play on, didn't even try to milk the foul.

Lacazette is taking the piss with these offsides

    2 horrendous subs.

Dreadful stuff from arsenal. As soon as we get it into last 3rd we don't know how to pass it. Think we might sneak a draw though.

No idea what that has to do with him passing sideways directly to a Tottenham player. That's the only thing I criticized him of, and it's nothing to do with being a sweeper keeper.

I feel there's a chance for Arsenal yet.

He's getting a lot more possession of the ball, in positions and situations he isn't comfortable with, and this leads to an increase in poor passes.

I really shouldn't have to waste my time explaining something this basic.

Just kick the ball to a teammate, or hoof it up the pitch. Do not pass to the opposition.

Even my 5 year old remembers this, no matter how uncomfortable I make his situation.

A draw is bollocks though, were playing catch up we need the win

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

I genuinely think Wenger will be okay with 1-0, he'll talk about how improved we are call the Kane goal offside and say the Auba offside could have changed the game.

He'll just be happy that it's not 3/4/5-0, that's the man we have

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,116 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

We're entering the last 5 minutes, chasing the game, and we've Iwobi and Welbeck on the pitch.

Defense aside, that's not something anyone wants to be seeing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,665 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

Wellbeck in poor first touch shock.

We are not playing catch up at all, where not anywhere near the top 4 chase. We are 6th and have a better chance of 7th than 5th

Lacazette not much better at times to be honest.

Oh Jesus, the ball over the top has caught us out so many times.

    Lacazette horrendous there.

How could you not get that shot anywhere near on target?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

    Lacca forgot how to shoot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

    That's that then....

    Lacca forgot how to shoot.

Wenger's fault for ruining his confidence.

I think Laca is a dud

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

    Poor from Lacazette

I suppose that's what being substituted every week after 65 minutes regardless of performance will do to your confidence. Plus having the likes of Iwobi starting ahead of you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

what a ball from Iwobi, that would have been robbery

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,336 ✭✭✭Mr.Micro

Get ready for more illuminating bs from Wenger

Wenger has absolutely broke him inside out, not the first player and won't be the last

    Oh lacazette

Ah lad. Very poor from Laca.

    Jesus arsenal
