Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Search my post history if you like too. I was frustrated as hell by him for the last year. I was happy to see him move on.

But my point is his scoring record is phenomenal. That supersedes criticism of his negative attributes surely?

I always accept that fans will have differing opinions but it seems to me that his impact is being downplayed since he left.

He was one of the few players we had that could turn a game through individual brilliance. On the other hand, I don't really think he improved us as a team.

Van Persie scored a massive amount of our goals in the season before he left, but we actually scored more as a team after he left. It's a team sport, and it's more about the individuals. Sanchez added goals to the team, but it came at a cost.

Sanchez scored 0.49 goals per game. Second only to Henry during the Wenger era as far as I can see.

The revisionism by some is unreal. I understand the attitude issues and losing the ball frustrations but seriously come on!

Do we know what his losing the ball stats were like for us?

Because to me losing the ball literally every 3 minutes in return for 1 goal every two games doesn't seem that amazing.

To put it another way, one goal for every 60 lost possessions.

He had great moments, no question about it. But the team suffered, you could see that without any stats.

I see Lacazette had a full day of training today, he could be back sooner than expected which would be a first for our "medical staff".

That's probably why physioroom list him as an April 1st return.

There's actually been a few instances where players return before their expected dates over the last couple of seasons. I think the club are a bit more cautious when predicting the dates, compared to how they used to be.

I wonder will France select Lacazette for their friendlies against Colombia and Russia.

It will be interesting to see if Usmanov gets caught up in the apparent financial sanctions against Russians in the UK?

Sam doesn't do proactive now does he ;). Whatever about Usmanov imagine the sphincter quivering at Stamford Bridge if Abramovich is targeted.

Conte definitely won't get any money to spend then (if he's not gone by the summer).

Is it weird if I want to see Giroud bang one or two in tonight?

Christ knows I've no love for Chelsea, but I want him to do well, and Barca can f*ck off.

Reports linking Conte to PSG he's definitely off this summer.

Watching the CL game and Fabregas hasn't been the same. Too many misplace passes.

Ya he looked way off the pace for Chelsea. He's played a huge amount of football during his career. *Maybe its catching up with him.

*All based off me watching one Chelsea match

Should I be nervous about tonight? Well, I am.

Is it on anything that isn't BT, anyone know?

Well, it would be quite Arsenal to win away and then get spanked at home.

Not that I'm aware of. If you can't bear the thought of BT it'll have to be a dodgy Brazilian stream instead!

If Osterunds can give us a game at home theres no reason why Milan cant. Though I suspect the penny has dropped for most that this is the last chance saloon so I suspect we'll not roll over in this competition now and might actually take it seriously.

Who do we want in the next round? Who don't we want!

If we didn't go through you can just rant for an hour !

After tonight's match the team don't play again until April. What should they be doing to make the most of the time off?

AC are very attack minded throughout. We are really going to have to stay on our toes

I know, but he hasn’t had a great season. One of Holding or Chambers should really be taking these opportunities that come by and try and stake a permanent place in the side.

ffs i tried to buy tickets for this match a week ago and it was sold out yet looking at the stadium it certainly is NOT sold out. WTF!!
