Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It will probably get overturned. No way that push deserved a red card. Very bad call by the referee and should absolutely be appealed.

Hope so, the official Premier League twitter account stated "Mohamed Elneny is then shown a straight red a few minutes later after raising his hands"

Apparently ref going by the letter of the law, but looked more to me like the Ref just lost the plot.

Apparently there is a camera angle showing Elneny pushing his hands into the opponent's face. I haven't seen it but if true there's no point appealing
There I go again, believing what I read on Twitter. Pleased the decision was overturned.

And ditto tonight. Let’s hope the great comebacks are done for this week... Unless it falls on a Spanish side again, I’d be all for that!

Now that the Champions League rubbish is out of the way the real football begins.

If I were CSKA, I'd be terrified.

    Welbz is in town.

If this is them with belief I'd be interested in seeing them when they're running low on confidence

And the comeback is on. Great save from Cech for the first, but poor for the follow up that was the actual goal.

Away goal could be a big difference here

Cech is done, it's a disgrace he's our first choice.

Glad I'm only seeing highlights. :P

We have had a few chances but look very sloppy going forward. CSKA still need to push for a goal so we will have plenty more opportunities before the end

    Tough game.

    Appalling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

That all came from looking for soft frees around the middle. Poor from Cech, he had long enough to look at it

Was it not Ramsey with a no-look pass to give it away? Then Cech with another wonderful contribution.

General observation, not talking about the goal! I'd have to write many more paragraphs to get my opinion across on that shit.

What a shambles of a club. In all honesty, we'd be probably better off getting knocked out. Winning would only continue the cycle of mediocrity. No fun watching this shower any more even in victory

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,111 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

    Elneny offside.

I'd take the defeat if it guaranteed Wenger out the door

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,456 ✭✭✭wonga77

What was Elneny moaning to the linesman about, he was about 4 feet offside

We'd be far better off in all honesty. The FA Cup saved the fraudster last season. He's done

Yeah I've just switched on and seen highlights.

CSKA should just be blasting it at Cech.

Mustafi is a disgrace. Easily could've given away a penalty having been left for pace then beaten on his feet so he throws himself across the CSKA player's path.

Wenger get the fook up off your hole and give some direction.

A blind man can see we need to go at these to try score and take the sting out of them, but no we go defensive and invite them to keep going and chase there 3rd

This is the clueless Arsene Wenger

Preferably direct himself out the door. What a truly useless annoyance he has become

I dread the day that I find Wenger more annoying than the bitching and moaning in this thread.

Every manager in the world uses his technical area to instruct or motivate the team, he sits on his fcukin hole rocking back and forth

A leaderless club. Full of shapers and bullshítters.

    Has form.

    £35million a few years ago.

That was a close one. The CSKA player's mistake was not hitting it straight at Cech.
