Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It would be unfair to Kos to blame him alone. Pogba was magic

For how many goals did it start with Alexis losing the ball???

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,940 ✭✭✭omega man

Even in the unlikely event we managed a draw it’d be a poor result in the bigger picture. So frustrating been a gooner.

If Kos done the basics right there was no goal there. Pogba done ok because he was let.

If Sanchez didn’t lose the ball in key areas we’d be in a better position

And we still can't score. De Gea has been magnificent for them. Make this a draw at least

This is so hard to take.

    Sadly Mourinho still owns Wenger.

    The stats are bloody depressing

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,692 ✭✭✭emmetlego

A complete sickener. Did enough to win that game easily today, completely bossed it apart from the area it counts, the scoreboard. Should have had 5 goals minimum today. 2 definite penalties not given, hit the post 3 time and DeGea has the game of his life and ball cleared off the line... F***** hate losing to them. Especially like that!

In many respects, I feel like we played at least as well as we did against Spurs, yet this was a hammering, and that was an easy win.

No more than was expected IMO. Wenger not up to it in the big ones.

I wonder when we last had that number of shots on goal against United.

What specifically did Wenger himself do wrong in this one, as opposed to the Spurs match? What things did he change, causing the different result?

Lads I missed the first 20 mins so I haven't seen the fúc ups and that may be skewing my reaction but that scoreline looked absolutely mental based on everything I did see. Very hard to criticise the effort or quality of the last 70 mins. Total domination, scuppered solely by De Gea. When the goalkeeper is motm by a mile in a 3-1 win you know it's been a weird one.

Sums up my feelings. Bar the (usual) idiotic mistakes, there was some unreal stuff in that performance. Just one of those weird, weird, weird days - plus De Gea is a wizard.
