Because Wenger doesn't take form into team selection. He has a preconceived decision on every player that doesn't change, same with his catalysis for change which is more of the same. His ideas and beliefs don't change.

Fair point. Nothing new alright but I still delude myself that if someone has a great game, even if it was against a **** team they might play there way into the team.

Lol very true! Can't agree more that our cb have been woeful. Not to make excuses for them but Ramsey and Xhaka ahead of them doesn't help and already poor defence

Sanchez isn't going to make it at a "bigger" club. He gives the ball away far too often and has too many negative aspects to his game that the top players do not.

After having a **** defence for so many years...I just cant fathom how we still have such an equally **** defence.
There has been just zero improvement, running around like headless chickens trying to plug all the gaps rather than just marking men and watching runs like proper defenders.

If the commentators are anything to go by, we aren't getting these decisions because we don't look for them.


It's going to take a much better half from EVERYONE in the second half if we want to get anything from this game.

You really have to ask how this team is coached, so many of our players going backwards.

We've let this American xxxxxxxxxx (insert what you like) and this old French fool bring this club from the top 2 to at best top 7 now.

Because it wasn't his intention to take him out. Penalties are only given when players are intentionally trying to take players out. :rolleyes:

To be fair, it's a very common problem in football. Hardly unique to Arsenal.

It's partly Wenger's fault. Games like today, Wenger should be taking him off, but he won't so instead he's left on and even tho he has been rubbish Wenger won't dent his ego by taking him off.

The funny thing is, if he was whipped off today, it might teach him a lesson, and he'd be more likely to resign but instead, he thinks he's too good so will feck off for free.
