Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First time I've seen VAR in action. That was very quick and the right decision imo.

Ah it wasn't really a pen, fair enough.

If only we had this last week though...

Possibly kicked the boot. Problem is he didn't go down grabbing his shin like Hazard last week.

As much a pen as the one on Hazard from Bellerin

    good covering from AMN

Solid enough half. Not creating enough, but they also haven't had too many clear cut chances.

Chelsea are no great shakes. Boring game but we’re well in it.

Regardless, any footballer should have ability to kick with either foot, head the ball, and man-mark. A player with his physical attributes shouldn't get skinned repeatedly.

I'd be surprised if you could find a team in world football who have 11 players with those attributes tbh. One footed players everywhere.

    Scoreless first-half. We'll take that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

decent half. Xhaka and Jack doing well in midfield and defence is coping with Morata and Hazard.

we need better penetration upfront and better dead ball delivery

Not anymore. Most players are two-footed. They have to be.

Even when I was playing many moons ago we used to have training sessions where you could only use your weaker foot. We had a red band around our weaker leg so the coach could see it.
I'm sure they still train for it too. Have to.

But on the pitch, where it matters, most players are one-footed. They'll always want to shift it onto their strong foot even when it's probably not the ideal solution.

In tight situations like defenders face they have to be able to kick with either foot, especially them. If you have space and time then you can switch.

There's Wilshere out for the year.

Brainless **** there. Jack can't move so there's a big gap and Chelsea just play straight into it, no-one covering for him. And Ospina with that parry, unreal.
