I didnt so much mind farming Scz out on loan but when he proved himself in Italy he should have been brought back and there was a desire from him to come back too. Cech is sadly finished. A legend of the game in his time but he's a shell of a keeper now.

Agree completely, should have had some kind of buyback clause in place. The fact that juventus see him as a successor to buffon should have been a strong indicator to arsenal that he was worth keeping. Cech is finished at the top level and has been for a while. That goal today where he rushed out off the line into no man's land is very typical of him.

I dunno, we can piss and moan about it all we want but until there is change at the helm and some fresh ideas, we're going nowhere. Its kinds sad what's happening to Wenger, he needs to be put out of his misery

Murphy and shearer pretty much nailed it there. We're a joke of a club and everyone can see it bar the board and Wenger.

The "catalyst for change" really worked. :D:pac:
    I wonder what it was.

Lee Judges absolutely spot on. The whole board should get the fúck out.

I'm so glad that I've reduced my emotional investment in Arsenal. It's bad enough as it is, but if I still cared as much as I did 5 years ago, I'd be walking around in a mope all the time.

Sad to say that being less of a supporter has made me happier, but that's where we are.

Wenger leaving will be one of the happiest days of my Arsenal supporting life....just hope I make it to 2025 to see it happen.

The mid 80's & mid 90's were way worse than the current mess, for those of you not around back then finishing 6th & getting into europe was the sum of our ambitions with plenty of mid table finishes & the odd cup semi final or suchlike.... however, back then the club didnt have the financial clout to challenge, different imes & all that. However, that doesnt excuse the state the club finds itself in now. I emotionally detached myself from the club a few years back when I got sick of the rinse & repeat seasons with no real progress being made so the regular calamities that we bring upon ourselves these days tend to make me laugh in an ironic kind of way...

I firmly believe it'll have to get worse before it gets better. A proper collapse with no european money hitting the club financially might make Kronke look at selling to someone who actually wants to own a club to win trophies, big trophies, because as long as the club gives him a financial return that suits his global agenda he's going nowhere. Face it, nothing is going to change under the current owner except how far we fall, because its clear the club is on a downward trajectory & there doesnt appear to be the will to address that, or if there is a will, theres a lack of competency in terms of knowing how to do it.

Theres a small part of me that is looking forward to seeing how this 'car crash' develops as I firmly believe this fall is far from finished. Get the pain over & done with & start to rebuild is the best we can hope for. It sure beats the death by a 1000 cuts we're enduring at present.

Thing is with these results it's not like we are surprised anymore. We feel it's bound to happen and it's not just anger, it's disappointment time and time again.

We aren't playing attractive football anymore it's mostly sideways and no forward passes.

On the bright side we have a year and a half before Wenger's contract expires Lol!

Aubameyang and Malcolm to come in but they should seriously consider joining with the current state Arsenal is in.

Until I see them posing in the shirt on the official website its all gossip AFAIC.

Selling Sanchez to Utd no matter what the fee or deal is will be rock bottom for this club

Personally, I thought the RvP transfer was way worse. Though when Ozil joins him in the summer at OT I suspect the combination of the two will top the RvP move.

Only if they win the title

Missing out on the Champions League next season will mean that Ozil is sure to leave (if there was any doubt)

Aubameyang seems to be a load of hassle for any manager Dortmund have had for the past couple of seasons.

His attitude off the pitch is akin to the rumors we've heard said about Sanchez.

Seems to me that we are replacing one fella who is apparently causing dressroom upset with another.

For me Wenger has reduced the club to an all time low in my time following Arsenal. He is a money man. If he was otherwise he'd be taking on the likes of Kronke and Co. in public and he'd be prepared to step down because of them, but he backs them up at every opportunity and continues to hang on.
The man is an utter fake.

Arsene Wenger said he would review Arsenal's defeat at Bournemouth in a "harsh way
    http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42594402

Wenger needs to include himself in any review.

    Another "catalyst for change" maybe?
How did the last one go again?

21 goals in 23 games this season though

Lacazette got well over 30 last season and looked dog shít yesterday.

We're the football equivalent of the Police Academy at the moment. All Wenger needs is the goldfish and bowl

Hell, even they had leaders of some sort and got results

Sanchez can't use the 'im off to win trophies' nonsense here.

There is a league medal there for him to be picked up in a couple of months if he went to City but he'd rather forego that for extra money to go to United who lets face it are not exactly tearing up trees for all the money they spent.

    A greedy pr1ck!

I still can see Sanchez ending up at City despite what the Press are saying.

A lots of potentially fake news surrounding Martial coming the other way & likely to be left out of the squad against Stoke.

I get a whiff of "we tried hard to get Martial to Arsenal" about this.

    Jesus Christ.

Swap a fella who scores a lot of goals for a fella who does not score a lot of goals.

    I swear to Jesus...

I'd take Martial in a straight swap, there's no way were getting him. He has years left at the top of his game.

We could bring in Messi, Ronaldo, 80's Maradona and Pele full of viagra and it wouldnt make a difference.

The problem is management, and no amount of signings will make that go away.

I don't know, Maradona playing with a horn could be very distracting for opposition defences

I’m surprised myself but I suppose he’ll get way more game time at Utd than City. We all know he hates not playing!

When you are referring to trophies, Are you referring to only the PL ?

United have won trophies nearly every season.

Plenty of noise across the internet about Aubameyang. I think it's all assumption stuff because he seems to be available, is giving BD some grief and was dropped yesterday. Bellerin following him on socia media today is randon but hardly insightful.

Not sure we'll see anything and Jan and expect Sanchez might hold out until end of season to get the move to City.

Guillem Ballague thinks we're definitely in for Aubameyang
....Not sure how reliable he is?

Yea, but I doubt he'd be telling his grandkids about the League cup he won.

The BPL and the CL are the only ones worth talking about.

I can see it in my minds eye already....Bellerin passes to Iwobi, Aubameyang seeing the space open up makes a great run and manages to dart in behind the opposition's defence. Iwobi instead opts to pass infield to Xhaka who in turn gives it back to Bellerin who then passes it straight out of play.

    Nicked this from twitter:

What a front line. Lacazette, Malcom, Aubameyang and Ozil. Becomes LMAO

    Would we be happy

Arsenal swapping out Sanchez, Walcott & Giroud, for Aubameyang, Malcom & Mhkitaryan/Martial, is surely too good to be true...

Not until we swap out our manager.

Why not buy Aubameyang and Malcom and try hang onto Sanchez. Why do we have to ship one out always instead of adding quality. Any more reliable news on Walcott to Everton?

United wont win any league this year in spite of yesterdays result and i wouldnt back on them next year either. They are a functional team at best but tbh with the money they've spent they really should be doing better. We should have given them the mother and father of all batterings at the Emirates only for the excellence of David De Gea and the calamity of our defenders.

Personally i think Jose is a one trick pony who is being found out. Id expect both Pool and City to absolutely spank them when they meet them the second part of the season considering we done everything but beat them and how poor we are.

Id still maintain that if he joined City he would make enough appearances and chip in with a few goals and therefore yes he would earn his medal just as Reyes did with Arsenal during the invincible season. He might win a cup at United this season....only might, but there is a league medal there for him at City. No brainer for me, if he is such a winner he should be heading to Eastlands. They will be solid under Pep the next few seasons.
