Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beautiful goal. I really like how Laca often seems to get such a sweet connection.

Wilshere looks great. He should really be starting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

    Should have been 4

And then 5. I really don't think Xhaka has had that bad a game. Apart from being fouled for the goal

Nice one. This has been enjoyable.

Assist for Jack. Good finish from Aaron.
Bye bye Ronnie! Is that the first time we've beaten him away?

To be fair, Everton are shocking.

Bad pass from Monreal, but put your laces through it FFS Cech

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,868 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

That was shocking from Cech, no way should we be conceding two goals against these

What a goal from Sanchez. Great patience.

Good finish. Some respectability to the scoreline.
    Even 5 2 flatters Everton

Jaysus Everton were so bad. Good result but there's not much that can be taken from it. Tougher tests ahead

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,937 ✭✭✭omega man

Ah lads I went to make some food in the kitchen at 3-1 in the 88th minute and came back in and saw FT score!

    Like Watford and stoke tough.
Your right not much to take from beating a woeful Everton but we played well ,did the job and move on back on track after last week's result.
Wilshere looked good again after coming on.Really hoping he comes good for us and nails down a spot in the first 11

If we had done the business last week we would have been in a great position league wise.

Nice win good to be back on track

Plenty of talk in the past about self confidence issues, you could see that a little today in the interview came across very nervous!

Anybody else watching NBC? Not sure who the co-commentator alongside Jon Champion is, but he hates us.

It’s David Prutton, used to play for Southampton. He got sent off against Arsenal and ended up getting a ten match ban. Don’t ask me how I remembered this :pac: Anyway here is an article about it. Probably explains his commentary today.

    Monreal
    Özil
    Lacazette
    Alexis
    Ramsey

Good to see a bit of 'bite' back in our attack :D

Great result against a team that beat them there last year. Puts them back on course for the points that they got last year. Man City (A) & Spurs (H) are games in the next 5 where they have an opportunity to improve on from last season...

If there was no transfer window he could have went to Tottenham and commented on the good form they are in having hammered Liverpool last week :pac:

Can't blame a man for holding a grudge, I've hated David Prutton since the day I seen him play in Elland road, we had tickets right at the front on the half way line, David Prutton was on our side of the pitch for the first half and he was god awful. We thought great at least someone else will be on this side for the 2nd half, only for him to swap sides and play on our side of the pitch again for the 2nd half. I've hated ever since.

Good performance today, nice to see that front 3 play together. Ozil is an amazing player on his day, he is a level above. Sanchez was very wasteful, wants to do everything on his own. Ramsey's decision making was very poor. And, Cech, just hoof it, if you don't have time or unsure what to do, just put your foot through it. A man with his experience should know better.

Pleasing result, but I don't know how much to read into it because Everton are a demoralized shower at the moment. It was only last week that everyone was spitting fire around here

Yeah that’s true. However Sanchez and Ozil are miles ahead of Welbeck and Iwobi. Would have made a huge difference last week and were both key today. Is hard to get excited about this team regardless, especially with the uncertainty over the futures of a few key players.
