Bidding query

    Looked at a house 3 weeks ago. Followed up with estate agent who said he has 3 bidders.Asking price is 295k
    Agent says current bid is 297k.
    This has not changed in 3 weeks but agent says there is another 10-12k to go.
    He will only accept increments of 1k

    Sounds to me like he is bluffing.

    Have called him a few times over the period and each time he says he will follow up with the bidders tomorrow.

    What would you do?
