Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some achievement to get 2nd place in this group, especially given that this batch of players isn't very good.

Well done Ireland but we could have done without getting the last few yellow cards.

No great players, but a great team of lads.

Northern Ireland our best bet of the ranked teams?

We won't know until Monday, but I don't think we will be seeded now. I think Crotia winning in Ukraine plus the Germany and Norway defeats will drop us to unseeded.

Draw is next Tuesday, why the fcuk does it take over a week to decide?

Randolf was great tonight. Safe pair of hands.

When we get Coleman back, I honestly think we have a very solid back four and goalkeeper set-up now.

    Christ my nerves are shot.

But this is a much better feeling than the lethargy we've had under other managers.

One step closer to Russia :)

McCleans goals directly responsible for six points in this campaign. That doesn't even take into account his energy and commitment. How anyone still hates on him is beyond me

Okay. Gotta feel for the little welsh fella crying in the crowd.

Maybe I'm just a c*nt but my favourite memory from WC 2014 is the fans crying in the stands as Brazil were being spanked by the Germans. What a great day that was.

    This little sh*t in particular.

Hennessey is always worth a ropey moment. Delighted we capitalised on it. Duffy was McGrath-esque in getting in the way of absolutely everything they threw at us.

Gives them more time to figure out how to fix it and not make it obvious.

A great result I have to say I saw little hope of happening. Very happy right now. It's only a pity that we're sitting here celebrating getting through to the playoff from such a strong position in the group. In having said that, the players made a mighty effort to pull it out of the fire.

Aye, when we have all players available to us we are a better side. But we pick up injuries and yellow cards like they are going out of fashion.

    From the Guardian
If the draw were conducted based on the current rankings, Portugal, Italy, Croatia and Northern Ireland would be seeded, and Sweden, Denmark, the Republic of Ireland and Greece would not be seeded, thus clearing the way for a potential all-Irish qualification shoot-out

    I hate our game plan

Try to skank a goal somehow. Why not just try play ball. With your best players.

Totally agreed but lets give martin credit...his game plan worked. The last 20mins were like an under 12 side... We have to be more composed

Just want to give a shout out to that Welsh pundit on Sky Sports who dismissed Ireland before the game.

Hopefully Ireland doing well with many ex LOI players will encourage more fans to support their local league .
