Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Remember if Ireland don't go through the damage was done against Georgia and Serbia, not tonight.

Doesn't excuse this tepid sh tonight.

We're treating the ball like a fúcking bomb that's about to detonate.

i`m cant watch until later, i take it has no resemblance to the Italy game or the match against France earlier..

    This is painful to watch.

bit nervy by Ward, we survive, need to stop giving away those corners when we don't have to

Quarter of an hour and we haven't stuck three passes together

  • Every time Randolph gets the ball I want to cry

I honestly - and hate to say this - not sure I would like to watch this in a world cup - we would genuinely be hammered by any technical team. Or any team with pace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,605 ✭✭✭✭Akrasia

If we tire them out by letting them come at us relentlessly, we can beat them with a lucky bounce in injury time

First time Wales get pressure on them and they **** themselves. Just like GEorgia would have. We make these teams look good.

This is hard to watch. Nothing positive at all yet from Ireland.

Allen doing his best Neil Taylor impression.

The midfield three haven't a clue how to deal with Ramsey and Lawrence.

Just standing off and shuttling across the field. They're actually doing nothing.

a red for wales is a real hope

Very very dirty from Joe Allen.

I'd rather Captain Birdseye leading the ship than MON.

Goes into a must win game like a 3-0 loss would suffice.

The positivity of the Serbia loss is gone again, nobody would fault losing like that, a close game. We held our own, had chances... setting up like this works once in a blue moon.

So basically what happened in France.
People think we were good because we beat Italy's backup side.

2 lads running under the ball, one missed swing and a skied shot :p

Have half an eye on Georgia Serbia. Lots of chances for Georgia, they should be ahead

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,661 ✭✭✭✭Arghus

    Dirty enough from Allen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

He's going nowhere Brady wtf would you do that?

Stupid from Brady, lucky not to get a yellow.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,046 ✭✭✭Berserker

Hmm, should have been a yellow for Brady there. Nowhere near the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,193 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

A Brady special from a set piece looks our only likely hope of getting a goal at the moment with Wales dominating possession.

Ive a feeling this is a ‘hang on till half time so we can bring on wes’ sorta job

It is true our ball is from the dark ages - even dutch football is out of date and we are 20 years behind that.

We play teams ranked outside top 100 and they can pass it.

Honestly if we took it to this Welsh team we would beat them.

    They are vulnerable in defence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

How many times have we miskicked/missed the ball entirely already?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

O Neill would break your heart with his cowardice football.

His tactics are an insult to the players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

    Sense the goal is coming

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,842 ✭✭✭crushproof

    Brady wtf

Hoof up again to no one again. At least the crowd has died down.

How is it we can't play football? Cannot understand it.

I'd prefer to go in 0-0 at half time than 1-0 up. If we were drawing I'd feel we could still knick it, but we'd definitely throw a lead away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

What's with everything missing the ball???

    Get it together lads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

We have soaked up a bit of pressure and hopefully we can have a spell ourselves, games don't go on for 90 minutes like this

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,607 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

    Welsh crowd are annoying bastards

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,039 ✭✭✭Moist Bread

MON has us set up well. We are playing them off the park, only a matter of time before we bag our first.

"Now..can they enjoy a spell of possession?"

    Christie wouldn't cross the road.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,818 ✭✭✭Bateman

Jesus someone should have had a more convincing swipe at that, they don't look solid at the back at all

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Closest we've come to a goal.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,570 ✭✭✭Ulysses Gaze

Wales look very dodgy at the back. They are there for the taking.

    IF we show some bravery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,120 ✭✭✭justshane

Wales are nervous at the back.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,593 ✭✭✭Wheeliebin30

Should hendrick have done better with that chance?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
