    Hello everyone

Apologies for this being my first post. And I hope I have posted in an appropriate thread. But my fiancées Sam Murray trad flute was stolen out of my car on Sunday evening (08/10/17). Her name is Mairead Phelan. She is a singer, flute player, doctor, and previous member of the band Solas. It happened in Dublin outside Guiness on the quays near heuston sometime between 18:40 and 19:00. The window was smashed and they rooted around and found it. My space grey 12.9in iPad Pro and Apple Pencil was also taken. Along with a set of Audio Technica ATH-M50x. All three of which were in a dark green shoulder bag.

Her flute is a 5 keyed Sam Murray flute. It was in a black case with two “foghorn string band” stickers. One on each side.

It is her pride and joy. She has had it for 20 years and it has been on tour with her all around the world. It is irreplaceable. We are doing our absolute best to get it back. Keeping an eye on DoneDeal / Adverts/ EBay/ pawn shops etc. I cannot post a link to her Facebook post yet, as I am a new user. But once I can I will update this thread.

But if anyone could keep a general eye out that would be amazing! And finally if anyone has any advice/experience about this type of this we would really love to hear about it.

    Thank you so much!!!!

    Tom
