Can this be accurate ? From RTE https://www.rte.ie/news/budget-2018/2017/1010/911153-budget-2018-updates/ Mortgage interest relief is to end after 2020, tapering to 75% next year, 50% in 2019, and 25% in 2020.

Yes. It was due to end completely in December so the fact that it has been extended (albeit at a reduced rate) is positive.
