Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No it didn't he had control as he hit the pylon which as per rules is a TD. Even if that were true there was not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. They were robbed of a TD there and I guarantee you Hazy if that was Gronk you would be saying the same thing.

He fully controls the ball again when his body is touching the white of the out of bounds marker, touching the pylon at the same time still means he's out of bounds.

Not 100% clear so i was surprised they were able to overturn it but that was my first instinct at what happened.

    Any Pats throwing away again

You are wrong he clearly hits the pylon before going out of bounds and there is no way to tell he lost the ball. Besides the refs are now saying he never maintained control which is also BS

He fumbles the ball as he enters the end zone. He loses the ball from his left hand and in that picture he is "transferring" the ball to his right hand as he crossing the line and rolls out of bounds. The ball is moving a lot as he crosses the line until he touches the white of out of bounds.

Again its not clear so i'm surprised they had enough evidence to overturn it

That was way too close for comfort. Another win but another struggle.

Rams/Jaguars is going to be nuts.

Rams score 106yd Kick Return and Jags get the ball 7-0 down and Fournette goes 75yds for the Thud on their first play. 7-7

Pats win, but zero confidence in the D continues.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Josh McCown looks like Aaron Rodgers today. Jets gave it a really great shot, and can rightfully feel a little bitter with the TD overturn.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

That Rams return TD was mad!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Thoughts the Pats were done over a bit last week, this got a huge break. Bizarre call on the Jets TD.

Patriots as bad a 4-2 team as you'll likely see.

Slow it down and stop it when they show the replay he clearly has the ball in his other arm after transferring it as he hit the pylon while still in bounds and he follow through out of bounds with full control still. The official call by the refs to overturn turn it was that he did not maintain full control and fumbled it which is BS given the video we have. There is no way even if they believe they are right to over turn that. Even you are making assumptions based on the video evidence. From what we see it is a TD.

Saints can't blow this can they? Took the foot off the gas, and now a two possesion game. Crazy start to the late games!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,638 ✭✭✭phatkev

Damn proud of this Jets team, a team the media said were a sure thing to go 0-16, a team the media said were going to be an embarrassment to the NFL and here they are losing to the reigning superbowl champions by only a TD. These guys a showing up with a real fire in their bellies and they're the funnest Jets team I've watched in sometime!

A TD each for Rams and Jags only 25 seconds into the game

I’d def give credit to the Jets. Looking like an organization that was looking to tank. Now it looks like the dead weight was cut and hungry players are performing.
The only thing, every team is cutting this Pats D to bits. No pass rush and the secondary is all over the place.
