Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Phenomenal pass from Henderson, tidy finish too.

    That looked offside though.

    Was incredibly close. Onside just.

Kane very close. Nice turn and shot.

    7 minutes of added time.

Thought Lingards head was a good bit off myself right away tbh

VAR is great when it works like this evening

It was a great move by England, Chilwell ran it out brilliantly, nice flick by Sterling and pass by Heno, and a neat finish.
But England have been passed off the park. Front three haven't helped by losing the ball so much.

    Been very smooth tonight.

Depay wasteful again. Wonder will the Dutch regret these missed chances.

Sterling's shot shaves the crossbar. Unlucky.

90 minutes is up. Going to Extra-Time.

Extra time it is. Not unhappy about that, it’s been a great game.

Kane not doing much again. Sometimes he can look very ordinary

A million times better than any friendly. The players are 100% at it also.

He's not fit. Wasn't fit for the game last weekend and he's still not match fit.

I'd argue he's not match fit whatsoever and forcing himself to play so as not to miss out on England reaching a 'final'

Why a 'final'? Am I missing something?

Which begs the question why play him. Realise Rashford had to be replaced but Kane is very clearly not in shape to play. As last Saturday

The Nations League has thrown up some great games in fairness, still a bit clueless as to what happens now with Euro Qualifying , next edition of Nations League, etc

I've rather enjoyed this Nations League. Much more interesting matches.

More that yes it's a final, but it doesn't hold any credibility for me in comparison to the Euro's, WC or any other international competition.

A second chance to get into the Euro's

Find the idea of having a 3rd & 4th place play off on Sunday a bit daft

Could change in years to come for me

The narrative around here for this will be pretty straight forward.

If Netherlands or Portugal win it it's a good competition and a great alternative to friendlies.

If England win it it's nothing more than a Mickey mouse competition.

These games have nothing to do with Euro Qualifying these are finals.

Next March is when the play-offs are and it will make more sense when it gets closer to that stage. I find the structure easy to follow just have to wait until March to find out who is playing in the play-offs

Promes scores. What a disaster for England!

Actually an O.G. from Walker attempting to get back. Stones at fault.

Well, that is up there with the biggest calamity I've seen in a long time. Look like conceding again. Dutch all over us at set pieces.

Depay ain't scoring tonight. Good reflexes from Pickford.

    Stones again very poor

I don't think so, no. It's just an error in judgement followed by a sh*tty touch.

Players won't stop diving and play acting until retrospective bans start happening.

Until the punishment fits the crime, they'll keep doing it.

Yeah, just checked. April 20th was the last time he played 90mins. Handful of late sub appearances since then.

De Ligt has done well since his shaky first half.

Rashford going off has had a lot to do with it. He'll fair better in a hustle-bustle physical battle versus Kane than he will against the pace of Rashford.

Has there ever been a game that Ali doesn't concede a freekick

Have to say that Rashford (the penalty aside) didn't really cause the Dutch central defence any trouble during the time that he was on. That goes for De Ligt and VVD.

Depay to Promes surely seals it. England shooting themselves in the foot again. Barkley at fault.

Another shocking goal. Just not good enough at the back. Gifted them that win.

Another semi-final loss. Error by Barkley under pressure, but the pass by Stones put him under that pressure.

Koeman doing a fine job rehabilitating the Dutch. A strong performance at the Euros and I can see him in the frame for the Barca job next year.

3-1 it ends. Portugal vs Netherlands will be a tasty final.

Brutal defending by England for those et goals.

Since Kane has come on I think he's fouled 7 times and got a yellow. Not much else.
Fit or not that's fairly poor.

    Holland deserved to go through.

4 goals in the game, 3 came from poor defending.
England really didn't create much at all. Duch missed one or two sitters.
Better team won; but a decent game overall.

Utterly pathetic Engand fans booing VVD.

Very enjoyable game all the same.
Top defenders making mistakes all over the place.

what was with all the booing of VVD - was it racist or something else ?

Given what happened with Sterling , I thought they might only taunt the Irish

They were booing Babel as well? I asked earlier what that was about and an England fan on here said it was because he used to play for Liverpool. I asked him why? But he didn’t answer or didn’t know maybe? Very strange. Anyway the people of Porto will be delighted that they didn’t get to the Final and probably a lot of them will go home now.
