    Hey

As the title suggests, complete newb here. Looking to drop the cigs and switch.

All the different terminologies etc are so head melty.

I am looking at different set-ups from different places and am beyond lost.

I have no idea which would suit.

However, take this one which I saw recommended on here. I don't understand the different ohms of the coils, nor do I understand the VV, VW etc. Any advice??

Well done on trying to give the stinkies up :)

That kit is absolutely spot on for a first kit.

As for the ohms, nothing difficult about them at all. The two coils that come with that kit are 0.7 and 1.8. Each coil has a recommended wattage range stamped on it so you can't go wrong. Just a little tip though, when you do pick up a kit - always prime the coil. Just by using your bottle of ejuice and dripping a few drops of juice into the little holes on the coil head. You usually see the cotton through the holes so it's very hard miss.

I've always used the 1.8's in my nautilus tanks and wouldn't change them for the world.

Basically the higher the ohm, the lower the wattage you would be running them. In turn, the lower the ohm, the higher the wattage. I find the 1.8 ohm coil perfect for mouth to lung vaping (same inhalation process as a cigarette). You would be running that same coil at 10-12 watts max. My sweet spot is around the 9 watt mark.

You increase or decrease the watts/voltage through the batteries up and down buttons. Everyone's sweet spot is different so it just takes time to figure it out.

Any more questions, fire ahead :)

YouTube is your best friend when it comes to vaping,a lot of reviewers giving their different opinions...

This one shows you the kit but concentrates on the mod...
