It is usually Mick, but we weren’t playing against a very good side today. They’re top 6 contenders at best. I could understand against a team who is our rival on the table. If we set our stall out away to these upper mid table sides we’re going to do the same against the top teams. That’s a lot of games and points to sacrifice, especially with a team like City in the mix.

    Exactly!

Against a defence as poor as ours, it's a shocker to just test it once in 90 minutes.

The turning darmian around a billion times and being the biggest threat in the first half is what I remember

They won't be found out. City may end up being better, but Man U have that solidity within them. They will absolutely challenge City more than we will.

We are definitely not going to challenge at the business end of the season that is clear.

I think Utd will struggle in Top 6 games and it will cost them. I expect City to win league and Spurs in second place.

Improving on sh!te to title requires much more than that

You are struggling to understand that.

Your manager results in matches worse to watch that MON does with Ireland.

After all the money he has spent on his attack, that's disgraceful.

You do realize the situation today yes

    Still struggling to understand

Both teams were not at full strength either

    Terrible interview from Klopp.

Man United have more goals scored this season and less conceded than his team, maybe if he had Liverpool playing with different tactics, they would be higher on the table and that would include fixing the defence.

Mourinho clearly under Klopps skin, hates that United get the point to take them top of the table while they are under serious pressure

Top 4 would be a great season. Expecting to win the league is madness.

True, just seem to be a level or two behind the top teams.

Very predictable game and result. Talk that utds attack would destroy the Liverpool defence was never going to happen. Jose as is his right always sets up like that in big games. Liverpool regularly keep cs against top 6 teams and are much better defensively against these teams than against the rest of the league.

At least I won't have to endure Mourinhos muck until the return game. Worse than going to mass

    Very predictable game and result.

Was it? I'd say 80%+ predicted a United win, a lot of those were crushing wins.

    Mourinho clearly under Klopps skin

He's beaten Klopp once out of eight attempts.

boring 0-0 with Jose playing 6-3-1 formation and parking the double decker

Was predictable but we need to find a way to break down these inferior teams that have no interest in leaving their own half

Disappointing result as that utd team is fairly average

surely you know by now he has only 1 tactic. That's why he's lost 5? finals in a row, they've only won 1 of the last 8 and why they will never compete for a league under him

United have played all poor teams so far until today. You still have to beat smaller sides but there was no real test first-generation until that sh1t they produced today

Well he's managed the two wealthiest teams on the planet. I'd imagine he should have won a few trophies.

What is this? Every time we play you try to make some weird unsupported argument that Klopp is just fuming about Mourinho, that he's all he can think about. A draw's a draw, you can't spin it into a victory.

Dont understand why Liverpool fans seem fixated on Mourinho's tactics. I'd have thought they'd be concerned with Klopps tactics and his inability to break down the defence. It always appears to be the fault of the other manager or the referees.

I don't know what they expected in fairness. The ones I know would have been happy with the draw.

That's a proper Mourinho performance and result. It's what he does. It gets results and it is a result. He turned up with a Chelsea side in 2014 and they played like a League 2 side.

When Ireland do it and get results like Monday, we just have to suck it up. Mourinho is a proven winner at the end of the day/season. Man U fans will be chuffed today and rightly so.

He's becoming a caricature of himself. Easiest game that awful Liverpool defence will have all season. A proven winner isn't happy with a draw and certainly doesn't set out to get one at all cost.

Ireland away to Wales is not a comparison to United in the Premier League.

Mourinho bemoaning his squad strength. Spent maybe £350million over two years on players.

Look at all the posts start of last season. People saying he is finished in the game, that the game has passed him by while saying people like Klopp are the future of the game.

1 year later, 2 trophies later, top of the league, and comfortable in CL. He's having a grand time

What did he bottle? He barely got a kick because Utd barely got out of their half, he had no service, silly comment imo.

Can you deep down be happy with the money Utd have spent and with a £75m striker up front that Utd come to Anfield, and play a Liverpool side, that I read here constantly are useless and not to be rated or feared , and play like a Martin O'Neill side, that just aims to stop the opposition from scoring as their prime directive and with the hope of just sneaking a goal.

That is not how titles are won nor is it what United fans have been used to watching for as long as I have been watching football.

The fact is Mourinho has won titles playing that way, regardless whether I’m happy or not, he’s the professional.

He had 1 chance all game and well he could have done better but is that the definition of a 'bottler'?
