Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So we miss good chances, United camped inside their own half playing on the counter and at the same time getting away with murder from the ref.

Going exactly as expected so far then.

    Quality outrage from the lads.

Many of whom thought Mane should not have been sent off for kicking Ederson in the mush.

    Don't ever change.

    :D

The Lukaku thing is nothing. He got flicked a little. Lovren is making a meal of it as they all do. There's no way of knowing if Lukaku meant it.

    Move on. Seriously.

Some say Ashley Young is still trying to sort out his feet to shoot!!

Referee letting Lukaku away with murder, hopefully he gets done by the video review panel.

Well nothing giving in game so they can review it

If Lukaku had kicked a ball at him instead you might have seen it.

No he still wouldn't see it  Scummy from Lukaku

The main point is that Lukaku should be on two yellows at least.

Very cynical and negative tactics from utd. Lukaku is so isolated at times. It's working but horrible to watch.

Hendo puts in at least 3 of those shít loopy crosses in a game. Infuriating every time.

You're misremembering because we don't score from them.

They're normally very accurate and if we wern't ****e in front of goal he'd have 2 or 3 more assists from them.

Embarrassing behaviour from Lovren, should be banned after the game for attempting to cheat.

    good game.

As expected Liverpool playing all the football but United always a threat.

Can’t see game.....could Utd be playing more attacking or were Liverpool totally on top in 1st half?

Disappointing we are not going at them more. Playing to Liverpool's strengths when they can be taken apart.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,846 ✭✭✭✭Liam McPoyle

Liverpool the better side first half.

    United at 6s and 7s.

Rom should have done better but kicked straight at Mig.

    Odd goal will win it.

Mane didn't intend to kick Ederson in the head, but according to United fans at the time, intent doesn't matter. United fans can't have it both ways, try as they might.

Has he now? Point out a time in the match where one of our players kicked a United lad in the face and got away with it Mick.

I've rewound and watched the Lukaku/Lovren ten times.

It's a nothing incident, don't know what people are screaming here about.

Lukaku was a little bit careless, Lovren's rolls were ridiculous, type of stuff Rugby and GAA fans slag football for.

Forget about it and get on with the game

Liverpool on top in general but not massively so. United still pretty cautious but not as much as last season.

That heel to the head was on purpose.

Really? I'm not convinced at all. Not a chance he gets a ban.

A bit of a different situation manes foot was head height where heads naturally are.

The Mane and Rom incidents are incomparable, try as he might to say otherwise.

Lukaka was walking away and his heel clipped Lovren, impossible to say if it was intentional but it was not dangerous play in the absence of irrefutable proof either way.

    Mane incident was.

It shouldn't be that hard to separate them tbh.

Liverpool on top here, look far the more likely winner right now.

That heel to the head was on purpose.

Seriously, based on what camera, I'm watching on a stream but they showed it 3 times and it look like nothing at all. Stand to be corrected but none of the angles I've seen look anyway conclusive

If the shoe was on the other foot, there's absolutely zero chance the reaction would be any different, believe me. He technically kicked him, however slight it was, of course I'm going to want him sent off for it so we could have a numbers advantage.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

First time Liverpool fans have ever accused Lukaku of having good footwork.

As someone who's watched him try control footballs over the past few years, there's not a chance he meant that.
