Had a few more games last night, seemed to be less people using Zero, but still way OP.

This is the first CoD i played since CoD: WaW.
Im enjoying the basic multiplayer a lot.

I usually play more tactical slower paced FPS like insurgency, red orchestra but this is a lot of quick fun action.

Dabbled with zombies and blackout a bit.
As a long time Pubg player blackout feels very smooth
Zombies looks like fun i havent played it since WaW (which was pretty barebones)

Actually i did buy CoD:AV once but i refunded it within an hour, luckily im glad with this purchase.

Not sure why a lot of reviewers diss on the basic multiplayer, maybe its because its just constantly a rehash of each game but i havent played them in years so it feels like old CoD to me.

PS. Im also having a lot more fun than BFV, not sure why. I think this is definntely a better all-round purpose, especially if you already own BF1.

Zero basically makes torque a waste of a specialist. It’s the most annoying piece of sh1t to play against. There is no counter. I’ve started playing as nomad all the time and running the dog as it’s not effected by it.

These near weekly 14gig updates are a bit of a pain in the hoop, I was a bit more understanding at the start but its kinda getting annoying now.

Has anyone played it since Zero was nerfed? I wanted to last night, but on the epilogue in RDR2 so want to finish that before the weekend. It sounds like they just made it longer to be able to hack everything (which is gas, how do you hack a feckin shield!).

After well over a year trying to win a battleroyal game PUBG and blops4 I finally got one...didnt trim the clip but from the gameplay I think it obvious why this is my first win.

Well done, a wins a win in my book, I've yet to get one in the full game, did better in the beta. Add me on live if you want to try duos sometime.

Seems when it gets down to the last 15 its a camp fest and people lying prone in long grass

It's a camp fest most of the way honestly especially solo, unless you are some hero. I don't know how these guys get 10+ kills in a solo game??? Luck also plays a huge part in a win, I've placed in the top 5 numerous occasions but failed to close it out. (Only once ever) I'm a lad in my forties and not up to all this jumping around trowing nades while spinning in the air and all the while aiming for the legs. I just blind panic in the last 5

remember the days on 360 and updates were limited to max 50mb

In the same age bracket as yourself. Only started playing this a few days ago, finding it good fun. Got 3 kills on my first go of Blackout, mainly by hiding in tall grass or a building and someone comes past.

You guys on Xbox or another platform?

There were some that never seemed to spawn the item for me, ruins boxing gloves in particular.

And some that I used to get all the time - like the metal plate for Ajax. I did get Mason which I was pleased about.

So the PC people are getting a new version for sale, only contains Blackout and MP, no zombies. $30 expected price. No sign for consoles. If this was available on launch for consoles, I would have picked it up. Heck, if there was a MP only version I would have got that. Blackout Edition. Hopefully this will be a standard going forward. I only ever play MP and SP when it was an option.

Also, rumours that the next CoD may be Ghosts 2. Seems to be 50/50, with some trusted leaker from Kotaku stating it's not, but a video posted by someone working on the game makes it look like it could be. Could just be a random video too. Hopefully it's not Ghosts 2, pretty sure it's universally held as the worst CoD.

It could be MW4 but also a rumour that it is Ghosts 2 set in Vietnam. Tbh I can still get games on Ghosts it really isn't as bad as you remember it, mostly let down by poor map design.

And that's why I stopped playing it. The gameplay itself was fine, and I think I recall hearing it had the best bullet physics of the series, but the maps were terrible. Constantly getting shot from behind. Some maps were spawn killfests. Just terrible.

Yeah I'm on Xbox I'm usually on after the kids go to bed and try a fit a quick half hour here or there... GT is ToxicStarknova

I quite enjoy ghost, it was the last cod where I found the hit detection was spot on and I could go into a game and dominate and also get a streak going

I play it the very odd time, generally after I’ve had one too many beers to aim properly in regular multiplayer.

Hide and seek, cough I mean blackout, is more fun when pissed.

I’m still ****e at it but at least I have some fun.

And whilst I’m talking about being ****e, I’m still sucking at zombies. It’s a bit craic though. Pity more people didn’t use mics when playin it though. Would really help noobs like me figure it out without having to resort to YouTube guides.

Multiplayer is tight as **** though. Loving it. Nearly at prestige 3. Prestiging is completely ****in pointless but the grind keeps me coming back. Unlocked gold camo for my beloved Titan the other day. It’s coool.
