I've been burned by WWII and Ghosts Season Pass, so I won't be getting the Season pass from the get go. If that means I can't play the DLC, it may just put me off buying it. Bloody greed.

I'd imagine the 'Free' DLC will be additional characters and weapons, nothing more. Again, I'm going to wait to see how much it will cost. I wish they'd make a model where if you only wanted the MP, you can buy just that. Don't have, and never had, an interest in Zombies.

So the DLC is free only during events... Still not making me want to buy it Activision. I'm not looking for a 3 year game. I'm looking for a 1 year game. Playing BlOps 3 again, and honestly, there's nothing new in the MP side of things since I last played it. It's still the same. I dare Activision to separate MP and Zombies into separate products, as I've never had an interest in Zombies, so I feel like i'll be paying for the Zombies fans to get new content.

The Specialist

The fatal flaw in their plan is the season pass, you cannot expect people to pay full price for an MP only game, and nearly full price again for a pass to get the extra maps that will release. Look at Rainbow Six Siege - MP only, full price up front, but then all new operators and maps are free for all. Not a viable plan for these greedy bastards though.

The lack of campaign has already shut me off ever buying this game, but I sincerely hope it crashes and burns for them.

I've decided I won't get this on launch day, instead I will wait for a preowned copy and I'd rather give my money to GameStop than Activision due to this.

I would have normally pre ordered the digital delux by now but not sure t that s year, and it's not about the season pass it's the way they have changed the core mechanics of the game, I want to pick the specialist that I want. I don't want to be injecting myself to boost my health, most call of duty players aren't fans of Fortnite so I have no problem interest in Blackout or Zombies. So until I see the beta I ain't ordering it. I've no problem playing WWII and IW for the next year

Same here. Normally I pre order but going to hold out until I see how it looks after the beta when actual public players get their hands on it.

So I got my pre order code from Amazon there for the beta this friday. Also I believe if you set up a Hong Kong PSN account you don't have to pre-order you can download as a demo, also I see some loyal players have been picked at random by Activision and sent two beta codes.
I'm still not convinced by the one specialist charecter per team. They need to change that or there will be lots of sitting in lobbies as players rage quit because they can't play as the charecter they want.

Let us know what you think of the beta. I didn't bother pre ordering this year.

Hopefully they will have an open beta on PS4 for the 2nd weekend if they don't get enough online for the first weekend

I got the code yesterday I pre-ordered on Monday. Check your junk folder just in case it went in there.

hmmm , amazon emailed me a code, but it said he had already been redeemed when i went to the call of duty beta website. Any idea of an email address to ask for a new code ?

You are probably sorted at this stage but got code from Amazon redeem it on cod site and they emailed me this morning with the beta code which I entered on the PSN store.
Beta is 18 GB if anyones wondering. I'm sure like previous years it will be open to all next weekend.
Max level is 25 at the moment

Very dissapointed tbh. Probably the worst entry in Black Ops series. TTK is horrific it's just like shooting a sponge plus you can equip armour which boosts your health even further. AR's are under powered. loads running around with SMG's. They have basically ripped off Rainbow 6 with a lot of the specialist abilities barbed wire mobile barriers little mobile device that shocks you so you can't move.
You have lots of players jump killing you.
I do hope they fix ttk etc for next weekend.
But I'm afraid the rumours are true about the development problems with this game.

So that's my opinion on it so far.

That’s disappointing. Was hoping it would be better. Glad I didn’t preorder now.
