    I've no idea - but in the case of a penalty it would cause so much that had happened in the game to unravel that it would be unpalatable for the authorities to have it happen.

    Was reading up there, it's only for clear incidences, i.e. one where they is uproar and probably if a goal/sending off resulted.

    What I mean is if they say a dive lead to a penalty, then that brings the penalty goal into question, which brings the result into question - so they are unlikely to create that situation for themselves imo

    what? the rule is there - they will never stamp out diving if they don't enforce the rules.
