Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hope we get a well formed eye when it hits land, to let a nice bit of sunshine through.

I don't know if we're going to make it through this.
I don't know much of anything anymore.
What the fcuk happened to the Delta I used to know?
I guess this is just another lost cause Mr.Paine. All you people don't know about lost causes. Mr.Paine does. He said once they were the only causes worth fighting for and he fought for them.
Mankind - that word should have new meaning for all of us today
We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.
We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the fourteenth of October, and you will be fighting for our freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution - but from annihilation.
We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.

    They know in America too?!?

Getting own to s**t is bad enough but I don't want Trump coming over and throwing paper towels to us so we'll adore him.

I think on the side of the Atlantic we get Juan Sheet. He has a new cape.

As well as being a Shakespeare play, Hamlet is also a commonly available Cigar.

It can also mean a very small town or village.

(I'm trying to sound knowledgeable so that if I die in this storm, I'll be remembered with respect and admiration.)

School buses have been cancelled for Monday here in the far West. We've been warned to have our phones charged and torches at the ready.
The wind has actually picked up a fair bit already tonight.
I knew I should have went to the offie earlier.

I expect Ophelia will clean that skip out for you, good girl that she is ...

You don’t have to get out of bed for it.

    It's open to interpretation.
Maybe in a sense Ophelia is the cigar.
Her father is Ireland or a romanticised version of it that never existed.
And Hamlet is the Storm. Which is to say he is Ophelia. Which is to say he is a cigar.

Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar,
    You're gonna go far,
    You're gonna fly high,
    You're never gonna die,
You're gonna make it if you try,
    They're gonna love you.

Oh, by the way, which one's Pink?

Monday 07:30am is going to be the best time in decades to wash the car.
Cover in foam, run back indoors, and let the batchface Ophelia wash n' dry it.

Last big storm in 2014, our trampoline took off, slammed into the gable end of the house breaking pvc gutters and ****, then bounced onto the roof and destroyed the solar tubes.
Now we have one at the front of the house, so if it flies off it's bye bye cows (if they're in the field which I doubt) or bye bye farmer's shed if it gets to the bottom of the field. Much better :D

So is 'Orla-whatsherface windy storm' and it's very unusual position being supported by Solar Winds/Magnetic Pulls, well this lad thinks so.....
According to the latest predictions from Christian prognosticator and "researcher" David Meade, who believes the Biblical End Times is tied to the appearance of an as-yet hidden planet named Nibiru or Planet X, "the beginning of the Tribulation occurs on October 15."

"That’s when the action starts," Meade wrote on his website. "Hold on and watch – wait until the middle of October and I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed."

The idea is that seven years of solar flares and other catastrophes could kick off on Sunday, leading to the rapture of true believers and some awful times for everyone else.

To be fair Q3 2017 is looking like it may well be full of volcanoes, hurricanes and earthquakes a-plenty.

The windmills that have destroyed the countryside will get to produce some power for a few hours so that’s good.

I think they have to turn them off for safety reasons once the wind exceeds certain speeds.
