You never want to experience " phenomenal" seas ever. 12 metre seas predicated off the south coast. That can kill ships

Normally travel over to France this time of the year - and have been on high seas (not pleasant sometimes) I see the Oscar Wilde went out this evening but should make it across ahead of the storm - can only slightly imagine the chaos this will bring out at sea - phenomenal is a very good word!

All dunnes stores closed. Fair play to them.

Is anyone with satellite dishes and aerials outside their homes be badly affected from tomorrow's storm?

My own dish and aerial on the house faces itself in front of a main road at Blackrock in Dublin.

It is bolted into the house but not secure with other restraints. Will that be a problem for tomorrow?

Sky dish? It’s perforated for wind (not storms but should be ok enough)

    +1 to this.

They probably wouldn't have had much revenue taken in tomorrow anyway, so it may have cost them more in overheads anyway.

    What does that mean?
It simply means the storm is assuming a formation shaped like Sting's beard.

I have inflammation in my sinuses the past while. I've been to the doc and had antibiotics which worked, but the infection slowly returned. I have the most incredible pressure in my head currently. Could it be related to the weather?

Very likely. I tend towards sinusitis-y and humid, low-pressure weather always makes my head feel heavy and pressured. That's how I was today. Not pleasant.

The evidence is in the technical thread of how bad this..might..be.
The comments in this thread are pure hysterics.
I've to go to bed, some of us have work tomorrow so enjoy hiding under the duvet doomsdayers (not specifically you atomic),I'll make sure your fuel depot has the coal it needs for the next few weeks at least...no panic I'll risk my life for it lol

All government departments, schools and colleges closed tomorrow band you think it's hype.
You've obviously not read the technical thread you keep taking about or you've read the one on the motors forum and not the weather forum!

What's a sting jet? Does it mean I'm gonna die?

It's a bit of a storm in a teacup isn't it! I think it's just blowen out of proportion tbh.
