    Looking for some advice here..

so have two toilets in the house one upstairs and one downstairs both have become blocked at the same time, when flush water filling the bowel and no suction.

Strange set up in toilet downstairs water from washing machine seems to be flowing into the bowel and water from the sink in bathroom.

i have used a drain bomb and a drain snake on both and still no joy and the usual stuff drain blocker etc..

Anyone any ideas of the next steps i could try to fix this as nothing seems to be working.

    Thanks..

Go out the back and lift the manhole cover.

No manhole cover in the back or the front of the house, i reckon its in one of the neighbours houses

Well call round and ask them can you lift it.
Are you sure someone hasn't put decking or a shed or something over a manhole in your garden?

Yeah ive been to the neighbours there and we lifted it all looks fine that end so looks to be internal somewhere.

no never had one in our garden moved in and there was just concrete in the back which has been covered over by a patio.

looks like may have to give drain doc a call at this stage..

Are you sure that your waste drains to the neighbours manhole.
Check a few other houses on the road and see what is their setup.
If they all have their own manhole you should have one too.
It will be cheaper for you if you do as much detective work yourself as possible.

Thanks for that will do a bit more investigation, hopefully our manhole was not concreted over by previous owners!!

Some builders take shortcuts but to leave a house with no manhole is really bad.
When you are checking with neighbours you could ask if anyone has a set of rods because if you find a manhole you will need them

Wouldn't be the first time that has happened.
