Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A proper cupset.

Thought it was right to give the penalty but it definitely was 2 touches. You can tell by the spin on the ball

There's no way the ball would have went the way it did if there wasn't a double touch.

Fully deserved win for Forest. Entertaining game. Thats what happens when a championship team has a proper go at second string Premier team.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

    Wenger out?

Still have the Europa league and league cup to play for, so I doubt it. Fourth place is gone for them, imo.

That wasn't just a smash and grab either. From start to finish, Forest thoroughly deserved to win and probably by a bigger scoreline as well. I know it wasn't the strongest Arsenal side out, but there's no excuse for that kind of performance.

Agreed. I hope Pep takes notice of today, and doesn't take Bristol City for granted on tuesday night (and in the second leg). We do so at our peril.

You can see his right foot flicks when the ball goes up off it as he takes the peno with his left.clear as day.

All the moaning about fixture conjestion, surely cup replays are the first thing that should be done away with.

Nothing there really to whet the appetite. Chelsea (presuming they beat Norwich in replay) v Newcastle at a push for tie of round.

Much as the tops clubs would like to it's not as simple as 'doing away with replays'. Lots of parties involved in it want replays in the early rounds.

    e.g.,
the TV deal would be less without televised replays.
lower league clubs want replays as it increases their chance at jackpot revenue generation.
the cup sponsors get more exposure via replays.

Chelsea rubbish frankly. Apart from Pedro they haven't got a whit of creative ability. Olivera's strike was worthy of being a match winner.

In the replay you can still only play players who were registered in time for the 1st game. Barkley was not a registered Chelsea player then so could not play tonight

At this rate his first game in the cup for Chelsea may well be next January.

Also I think fitness was a concern, they've a behind closed door friendly organised for him this week to get up to speed.

Can the ref ask to see the footage with the English VAR system?

I think he has the option of looking at a pitchsude screen

There is meant to be a monitor on the other side of the pitch from the dugouts but you cant say anything like that in the main camera angle.

Also players are meant to be booked for doing the TV sign that did not last long as Morata did it and was not booked
