To the airport on marathon day

I have to get to the airport from Ranelagh on the day of the marathon. Lots of roads closed due to the race.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what would be the best way to drive to avoid delays?

If you're looking to leave before 9, head down the canal to the M50, otherwise head through town. There's a bit of a no-mans-land in the middle where you could get caught. It's Sunday morning though, so the traffic itself shouldn't be bad.

Prob need to be at airport at 8am so I reckon M50 via canal could be a good option

At that time you should be able head through the city centre through High St. no problem.

Yes will definitely go through Port Tunnel.

So Leeson Street down to Macken street over to Port Tunnel
