Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Or any feminist-very much the 'do as I say, not as I do'.

I find that many were 'so supportive' of #Metoo-until it was someone they liked, and then it was a witch hunt/ warlock hunt. Case in point, the Al Franken, Aziz Ansari accusations-where Franken was a critic of Trump, until it turns out he'd not only groped a woman, in her sleep, but he took a photo of it.

People were quick to bash her and accuse her of lying, or exaggerating, because she is an NRA member, and a Conservative who voted for Trump...
Never mind there was so much evidence pointing to Franken's groping, and now those who were demanding Trump be impeached were defending Franken.

The Anzari case was pretty similar-barring the photographic evidence. And suddenly you had the same defenders of Franken.

These folks always fall-it was similar to Joseph McCarthy leading the mob against the Communists, while secretly an alcoholic who chased after young girls. It only took one major journo to take him down, when he turned the cameras on McCarthy.

In other news, Scarlett Johanssen wore one of Weinstein's wife's dresses to the Met Gala-and was roundly and arguably justifiably condemned for it.

Some people may of heard about new anti harassment rules/working guideline netflix are bringing following #metoo .

"" Netflix has introduced new anti-harassment training in the wake of the #metoo movement that rocked Hollywood and seriously disrupted production on its House of Cards show.

New rules imposed on set reportedly include no looking at anyone for longer than five seconds, no lingering hugs, no flirting and no asking for a colleague's phone number.

“Everyone was spoken to about #MeToo," an on-set runner currently working on the new season of Black Mirror told The Sun. ""

    https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/netflix-sexual-harassment-training-rules-me-too-flirting-on-set-a8396431.html

To me that asking for someone,s number or casually flirting with someone can now be seen as " harassment " in one workplace is absurd & going too far, sure if someone says " no " or " not interested " & the other person keeps something up despite being told " no " that,s harassment as its not respecting or accepting taking no for an answer, but casually asking for someone,s number to be now seen as some form of " harassment " ? metoo has gone too far as its now policing that you can,t even ask for a phone number under new anti-harassment training .

I'm honestly curious how the usual people will try and disregard this and claim it as 'PC gone made' 'Feminazis' and so on.

Vatican meets #MeToo: Nuns denounce their abuse by priests
VATICAN CITY (AP) — The nun no longer goes to confession regularly, after an Italian priest forced himself on her while she was at her most vulnerable: recounting her sins to him in a university classroom nearly 20 years ago.

'Memba when Jessica Chastain was condemning Bryan Singer?
    Pepperidge farm remembers...

Anyways, Chastain has decided to sign on to work with a guy who's repeatedly beaten up women, and had convictions for it, including girlfriends and a hotel receptionist, the most recent assault occurred in 2012, a year after his 2011 'atonement'.

Chastain has said nothing... seems she likes to get on her high horse, except when it accounts for people she's working with.
