Pension transfer

    Good day all,

I have a pension question here.

I have been saving in to a PRSA for years and the amount is 70 k to date.
I also am a director of a recently formed limited company where pension rules seem very favourable for a director.

My question is can I transfer the 70k to my company pension without incurring a tax bill.
My reason for this is to avail of the more favourable rules for the company pension.

    Any advice appreciated.

You can tranfer your PRSA to an occupational pension scheme tax free.

Could be some drawbacks as well so think it through or get advice.
