Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a new windows based laptop to replace my old wonky desktop Dell. I will be using it for work (I don't need a gaming laptop - just something with adequate storage, and hopefully not too slow when opening applications etc).
Sorry in advance, I don't know much about specifications, memory, Cpu's etc
I have been looking at PCworlds site and this
    http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/hp-15bw060sa-156-laptop-grey/338206/396.7#reevooReview

but the reviews (on amazon) dont look very good.
I'd like to spend maybe 600/700ish or would I need to spend more?

Any suggestions would be great, thanks :)

    Or this one https://www.laptopsdirect.ie/-20h500bcuk/version.asp

Are Lenovo Thinkpads suitable for work use? (can I install Microsoft Office on it?)
Would it have a big enough hard drive, storage?

    Thanks in advance.:)

Thinkpads are pretty much built for business, and that one meets what I'd consider the minimum spec for a modern laptop.

I always recommend a i5 processor, 8GB ram, and a 256GB SSD hard drive as the minimum for a "good" experience, skimping on any of those will result in headaches down the line.

In terms of disk size, 256GB isn't as much as you'd get from even a cheap HDD these days, but the difference in speed is life changing. Once you've used an SSD laptop, you'll never want to go back, so sacrificing space for speed is totally worth it. If you need more room, then get an USB3 external drive, however, 256GB is loads of room for Office, and almost all work flows. It's only a problem if you've got a massive library of movies and music.
