Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reverting to type here, sh*t crosses and sh*t balls over the top. Hard to see United getting anything from this game at the moment.

Sneaky tenner on United to win.

    Cringe!

Thought you were joking about that.

    Gave me a laugh anyway.

It may need two threads to cover everybody if they do lose.

Martial so lackadaisical,no conviction in his passing. Our final ball has also been absolutely shocking so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,474 ✭✭✭deadybai

If Lindelof is worth 30 mil. I must be worth at least 50. How he hasn't dealt with those two goals is unbelievable for a professional footballer let alone a Man Utd player. Mistake after mistake .

City will put 8 past us if he's in defence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

I didn't see the thread in fairness. Honest mistake.

    Threads merged.

This is a matchthread, so discuss the match, not who is supporting who or why they're posting.

To be fair, Huddersfield have a brave attitude for the new team. They seem to be well organised and quite adventurous going forward early on in the season. Id imagine they wont be afraid to have a go against us.

Nothing wrong with BeakerJoe's crystal ball!!

Whatever about winning, I can't see them losing.

Think a lot of people got very carried away with United's early season form, they had the easiest run of fixtures of anyone in the league.

That said they are not this bad, they seem to have become very low on confidence since the Liverpool game.

A few holes in the Mourinho bus today. Good to see.

    Go way outa that

If utd weren't losing two nil ya wouldn't have bothered your arse and be seen nowhere

I'd say that's being honest about it

Anyway to the game, I'm actually glad at the very least Utd pushed hard and unlucky not to get a goal before the break

Ref ****ed us on a few decisions including a clear peno

Individual mistakes happened tho so far play to huddersfield for taking advantage

De gea looked weird for the second goal. He just seemed to stop.

Dive from Hererra there, no way a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,926 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Herrera gave away what should have been pen last week that wasn't given he may have had one today that wasn't given that's football.

Ah yes but "the other game" logic

    United should still win this.

Still think United can get something from this game if they get it together. Just get the ball into the box early and often!

It's all about getting that first goal. If they do floodgates will open.

At 2 nil down and playing poorly? I don't get it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

I don't want to see city run away with the league so I hope united can pull this out of the fire, looks unlikely though, hugely poor half.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

Mata and Martial off, no surprise there.

  • No these thing even themselves out of the course of a season myth.

You would expect Refs don't look at that decision and think "hmm Utd got a peno three weeks ago, best not give them one today"

    Your logic is nonsense

The incident happened in this match and Utd should have been awarded a penalty but they were not. Its simple really

Rashers and Mkhi on for Martial and Mata

    Scrap the cap!

I'd agree, just hope miki makes up for some recent poor performances

If we can grab a goal back in the first 15-20 mins of the game, maybe we can nick a draw out of this. Can't see us winning this but i hope i'm wrong.

With Spurs up next, we are in big trouble if this is how we're going to play

Those lemons you love giving out to all other teams must taste well today.

It wasn't a penalty, Herrara looking for contact and dived. Good decision by the ref in my opinion.

Great Swindelof off. We'd be better with 10.

No I think his point is sometimes you get these desicions and sometimes you don't but fans never seen to remember when their team gets away with one.

    Scrap the cap!

Agreed. Same as last week with Coutinho

    United are absolutely woeful today

How no yellow? Mason is awful

  • Refs a joke

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,474 ✭✭✭deadybai

Take Herrera off. Another useless display . Don't know why everyone rates him so highly at united . He's an average player at best

Ref is being kind to Hudds but that's not any excuse, we have been horrendous.

Should be interesting after the game. Can't go unsaid but it's not an excuse either.

  • He gives yellow to young for the exact same cynical foul

    Walking up the field.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

Fair to say Lindgard, Young and Herrera wouldn't get into any of the other top 6 teams.

It's just all too obvious and fùcking robotic.
