Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How much did Liverpool pay for Lovren?

Well This is fun. Great to see Liverpool get torn apart

    Embarrasing defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Jurgen Klopp folks. Hasn't attempted to improve the defence in 2 years.

Hardly Lovrens fault, he's been ****e from day one.

Don't think I've ever seen a centre-half have as woeful a start to game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,635 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

Lovren should be hooked asap. He won't get any better after this start.

    Should be shot.
    😄

:pac: Just what I was thinking. If I were a Liverpool forward I'd demand Lovren was removed and replaced.

I fear that spurs will batter us senseless much like man city did once mane was sent off.................... When the going gets tough we rarely get going....

2 nil down after 10 minutes.......... let's see what we are made out of.

Our attack can't be blamed for this spectacle so far anyway.

We've barely had an attack yet.

This will be a good come back! Or 5-0.

Emmm - isn't this the issue with Mr Klopp - every bar stool fan is right and it may have cost Klopp his job.

They are not getting torn apart though it's just pure rubbish defending.

You'd almost say by a million miles their biggest weakness.

How would you set up against them?

Kane with a tidy assist for son who walks it in! Come on spurs we want 4

You could take lovern off at this stage ?

Klopp surely under serious pressure, could be sacked in the next few months

If I'm being honest I don't give a fcuk anymore, he's been dreadful since the start and LFC don't replace him, I'm fcuking done investing in that defence..

Fall down Phil, only way you'll get the free kick.

United played Liverpool last week and didn't even try. Spurs play Liverpool this week and expose Liverpool's weaknesses.

This is exactly what we did to Spurs at Anfield last season. Tough to watch but Spurs are a mighty team.

How does Lovren miss the flight of the ball by so much. A player on the take would make it look more believable

Reminds me of the 5-1 vs Arsenal in 2014. Except completely the opposite, obviously.

Two individual mistakes again and we concede two. Everytime there is a mistake we seem to be punished.

I doublt anyone is surprised though to be fair.
All this playing well, creating chances bla bla bla is fine the odd game but when it happens for most of the 8 PL games so far it's a sign of something badly wrong IMO

    How bad was Can there?

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

High line every time is killing us. Lovren and Matip aren't blessed with pace exactly.

Kane is world class, lovely touch.

Spurs only need to attack with two or three players this Liverpool midfield and defence is so bad.

Can't recall last team that cut us open. All we do is gift goals.

Spurs are no great shakes at the back, Liverpool just need to keep their head and they can get at Spurs, oh yeah and forget about the high line which is disastrous.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Spurs several times today apart from the 2 goals?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 876 ✭✭✭Rumple Stillson

Think this 5 at the back is proving difficult for Liverpool to come terms with. If they can hang in there and get the next goal things might change.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

We need a couple more before halftime, never save with just a two goal lead so early

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Milner should have taken Son out

Jamie Redknapp is great isn't he? Really smashing, the real highlight of Sky coverage. So insightful and not the least bit annoying or stealing a living.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
