Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Matip. He's ****e isn't he.

Are you suggesting Milner would prefer to sulk on the bench than play

    Something changed.

He was the left back, playing every game.

    They buy one.

The next season Moreno is the left back.

When Milner does play, he's in central mid.

Its pretty easy to see where the argument he has asked to be considered as a CM has come from.

I'll predict the width of the pitch will turn out not to be of any importance

    Spot on there.

That goal is entirely on Emre Can, fcuking idiot, loses the ball stupidly with 20 seconds to go then fouls his man.
Can you dope, cost us a goal

It's not Can's fault, it's how the team reacted and defended poorly.

Lots of praise for him, but I wonder is that because Lovren is even worse. I'm not impressed, and that header was dire.

Delighted. He was probably my favourite player to watch last least. When his confidence is up he'll try anything.

All started when the ref changedthe throw Spurs player runs away after the tackle indicting he was last to touch it and the ref gave it to Spurs.

But way too many mistakes and gifts from that defence

We need 2 new CBs and a GK

Should have headed out for a corner, can't even make a correct deciosion when unmarked. Brutal for a "good" CB.

Correct. He put it right back in the danger zone. Terrible.

If Liverpool pretended the opposition was United every week they'd win the league.

All 3 goals conceded by Liverpool were the result of terrible defending.

Along with a LB, a RB, and at least 1 midfielder. About 400m should see us right.

Don't think I'll be too upset when Can fecks off to Italy. Just a pity we'll get nothing for him.
He's cost us more goals than he has created this year and I'm sick of the unnecessary challenges due to his own stupidity. I can't wait for Adam llama to come back and relegate Can to the bench.

  • Registered Users Posts: 861 ✭✭✭jbt123

What an absolute horror show. Do they practice defending in training at all? Or do they just stand and admire the movements of Salah, Mane and the rest of the attack?
    Absolutely woeful stuff.

Would Liverpool fans prefer Rafa over klopp?

Nice to have the neutrals back in the thread. Their internet connection must've been poor for the 20 or so minutes prior to the Spurs 3rd goal. Storm Brian up to no good, I'd say.

I don't agree that an experienced and seemingly modest player like Milner would refuse to play in a certain position to the point he is warming the bench, if requested, because he prefers to play in a different position.
The fact that he was happy and thrived in an unorthodox position before would suggest he doesn't work that way.

I don't know though, I'll be honest I never really thought about it, was more bemused at the fact Moreno was being persisted with

plenty of comments in the interim. Were you expecting massive plaudits by the "neutrals" for Liverpool getting a goal back?

we all knew we'd be in the shít again when we didnt buy a center back (and also shipped one out) in the summer.....

It was and still is borderline negligence

The Rafa we knew V the Klopp we now have, Rafa wins every time.

I love Klopp though. I just think he needs to adapt to league, Pep did after one season, Klopp has refused to alter approach. We have so much going on up front that if we kept a clean sheet we'd win every game.

Not many neutrals were "LOL'ing" at Spurs' poor defensive goal conceded though, that seems to be saved for Liverpool's poor defensive goals conceded.

In fact, I'm beginning to wonder how neutral these neutrals are!

United fans cheering spurs in this thread are gas men considering they would be level with us on points and even over-take us if they put a hockey score on Pool

The auld cliché of the next goal is vital here. If spurs get it, could be a hammering. Liverpool get it, be a lot of fun

Why would you expect anything less? Look at the Huddersfield thread.
